"The best maple syrup around"
"Do not recommend using this place for your wedding or event of such nature. No parking unless you call a muddy field parking. No running water They provided porta John's which is not appropriate for a wedding in my eyes. The barn the wind blows through very easily hope for good weather. Also hope that it's not to warm because the smell of horse droppings is more than a nose full on a cooler day. Unless your into that kinda thing while your eating dinner. This place would be fitting for a square dance not a wedding."
"We’ve been ordering maple syrup, cream, and candy here for years, shipping all the way to Texas and have never been disappointed! Delicious quality syrup!"
"Delicious syrup that is a must-buy when back in the UP. But thrilled they ship so I can restock our supply and the in-law’s supply when needed!"
"We stopped by Jasper's Sugar Bush today while on vacation and met John Jasper. He is the 5th generation now running and making the amazing maple syrup products they sell on-site and at many other locations (checkout their website for locations). We stopped intending to buy some syrup and cream and ended up getting an unexpected tour of the operation by John. It was so excellent and the highlight of our entire family outing of the day. John explained that they harvest maple sap from 16,000 trees (no that is not a typo - sixteen thousand!!). They are all connected by an elaborate series of tubes connected to taps into each tree that all pipes back to a single point where all of the sap is then processed into fantastic syrup. He also explained that during peak flow they can be collecting upwards of 32,000 gallons of sap daily! In the end we were so glad we took the time to go out to their sugar bush. We bought syrup (of which we just enjoyed on pancakes and sausage for dinner as we were looking for an excuse to try it - and very glad we did because it is delicious), cream, and candy (that was getting eaten within minutes of getting back into the car). John, if you read this, thanks so much for taking time to show and explain your operation to us. It really was the highlight of our day and still hard to grasp that you tap 16,000 trees! Hope your business continues for generations to come."
