"My wife and I stopped in the other day. On the door it said wear a mask so we stopped and put our masks on, went in sat down and they said thanks you can take your masks off. We had chicken wings, fried green beans and got gas for the sleds. Was a great experience for us. Thank you."
"I don't know what this place used to be like, but now it's to be avoided. The owners/ bartenders were beyond rude and unpleasant. Like others have mentioned, my group stopped by while out sledding. We literally weren't even all through the door and still had our helmets on and we got yelled at for not wearing masks. The woman bartender doing the scolding had her mask around her neck while yelling at us. We should have left immediately, but didn't. It just got worse from there. Every other place we stopped by on the trails was orders of magnitude better. Stay away, they obviously don't want outside business."
"This is a response to Jack and Coty. You seem to have forgotten what happened when you entered our establishment. There were not 10 drunken locals at the bar but four very sober snowmobilers from out of town. Your group entered our establishment and were informed that we required you to wear a mask until such time you were sitting at the bar or table (as mandated across the state of Wisconsin), at which time one of you immediately copped an attitude. You forget to mention the fact that one of you immediately started to continually drop the F bomb. One of the four customers sitting at the bar asked you to respect the establishment owners, so one of you approached that customer in a threatening manner and had words with him. At that time you were asked to leave our establishment as your group had worn out its welcome. Jack or Coty which ever one of you has the foul mouth , there was a lady present and you were informed we consider our establishment as a family place, yet you continued to drop the F bomb. Also you forgot to mention that COVID signage is prominently displayed at the door you used to enter our establishment. Be advised individuals like you are not welcome at our establishment."
"Very rude and odd place. I wouldn't recommend. We walked in needing some help in -27 degree temps only to get yelled at bc of their fear of covid. The amount of rules they had was obscene and they didn't even follow cdc safety guidelines, so if you're thinking you'll be safer because they are enforcing the rules, that couldn't be further from the truth. "Put your mask on", fine, so we put our helmets down so we could pull up our masks. Then they yelled that we couldn't set our helmets down. Then they said you can't take you mask off until you sit at the bar or your table even though you'd sit right next to the other patrons who were their local friends who were also yelling and swearing at us without masks. Then they challenged us to a fight. We didn't even have our jackets off or remotely close to sitting down and the owner came out of the back telling us to get the "F" out. Yeah, nice family place. They yelled at us no matter what we did. It sounds like they weren't allowing in non-locals thinking it would keep them safer or something. The best part was when they said this is a "family" establishment and swore at us in the same sentence. One star is too much..."
"STAY AWAY! STAY AWAY! STAY AWAY! STAY AWAY! STAY AWAY! All I can say is, wow.... I have never been treated this way by another establishment in my entire life. I am at lost for words on how we were treated at this place called a business. We walked in after riding for hours. 2 of us had mechanical/electrical issues and were absolutely freezing We wanted to fuel up, warm up, eat, and see if they had some minor tools to help us out. This was so far from the truth..... We walked in and immediately got attacked. It was honestly the weirdest/creepiest/un-professional thing I've ever encountered. That is saying a lot from me. The rules started as soon as we stepped in. (This was my point of view) I went straight to the bar stool. This bar stool was no more than 5 feet from entrance. Keep in mind, my shield is iced over, I have a face mask on under my helmet, and if you have ever driven a snowmobile for extended periods of time, you have a hard time hearing for a couple minutes after you stop. Hard to explain, but you'll get it if you are rider. You couldn't understand this guy on how fast he was talking and from what i could tell he was trying to talk to 3 people at once with so much confusion. I had enough and literally told this guy to chill out for a couple minutes while we regain our composure. My party was walking in behind me and was just as confused as I was. I sat there at the bar stool trying to regain myself while this guy was rambling/yelling/mumbling these rules that made zero sense. I didn't know what else to do, but I made my point to this guy. There was absolutely zero signage anywhere, but this clown of a bartender just rambling confusing things at customers to this place called a bar. I tried to explain to him what was going on, but that was interrupted by these drunk people sitting at the bar. So in the mix of this chaotic experience, my party started going back and forth with the bartender while I was getting harassed by these drunk people at the bar. Keep in mind, these were un-masked patrons. Covid feared people would of had this spot thought out more, in my opinion. Whatever, it's their rules. So I started my journey across these un-masked drunk people. I walked around these 10 drunk people only to be harassed more. I had people standing up trying to fight me and other super weird drunk people trying to fight me. Enough was enough, so I grabbed my stuff and walked back to where my party and the bartender were yelling back and forth. It gets better.... Out of nowhere this small lady, which was not part of anything, nor did she know what was going on, started screaming/yelling at my party. This didn't end well for anyone as we were literally screaming back and forth to this creep from the back, bartender, and these drunk weird people. By now we were warm, still hungry, electrical/mechanical issues haven't been resolved, but we were not spending a single cent in this place. There is plenty of other bars in the area and from what we gained, this is a troublesome spot. We made sure to explain this situation at literally every spot we stopped at in the area. The consensus was the same and the reactions were priceless. Stay away, stay so far away from this place."
