"Great little store. One of those that's been around. No resin supplies, though. Nice visit."
"My luck with small businesses in this area since moving here last year has not been good, and despite my desire to support small business, this is the last straw for me. These people cannot tell you who their wholesale distributor is for their allegedly "high quality" essential oils (there are only five worldwide; it's not a difficult question), how they're bulk packaged, temp distilled, and they cannot (or will not) show you the MSDS sheets for any of their repackaged oils. As an herbalist, I want and need to know these things, but never get a straight answer. To make things even better, I was happy to see that they had individual Micron pens for just $3 each...except that every single one of them that I have purchased over the past two months (photo below) has either been dried out, or gone dry within a single journal page of use and end up being abandoned in my truck. This afternoon I went back to try to talk to the owner with the three pens I bought earlier this week in hand; the door was locked early, so...I give up. I went across town to Joann Fabrics and dropped $50 on two multipacks, which is a shame because I have no use for the .50s or the .80s, but at least they rotate their stock instead of selling me $30 of unrecyclable plastic trash to feel guilty about and clutter my jockeybox with. I'm only shopping on Amazon, Frontier and Mountain Rose's websites from now on. These local mom-and-pop shops are definitely not worth the hassle anymore. The really sad thing is that the owner's brother recommended this place to me when I went to buy a car last year....I really wish I hadn't listened to him."
