"Just received a new ARE CX series for my 2023 Toyota Tacoma yesterday and mostly happy with the topper. My only gripe is the tailgate plastic/fiberglass molded panel on the topper door is not well contoured and there's a rather large sizable gap. Fiberglass finish on the underside of same panel is skimpy with exposed fiberglass hairs easily brushed off surface. The shop was prompt and courteous but seemed to know about this detail this as we spoke next day about it but never mentioned while ordering topper and I didnt think to ask. I spent a lot of $$ to now have to deal with this issue so if you own a Toyota Tacoma and want or need a dry truck bed don't buy ARE CX series be warned."

"Purchased a aluminum shell/cap for our 21 F-150 SB truck through a good reputable dealer here in North Carolina. The fitment and workmanship of the shell is poor. Shell is not square with the bed of our truck. The width of the shell is smaller in the rear and larger in front to accommodate different beds I’m told. Unable to open/close the shells back window independently from the tailgate. Both the tailgate and shell have to be closed at the same time due to interference with the F-150’s upper tailgate molding. The shells back window weatherstripping doesn’t stay in place or seal properly. Unfinished jagged metal in the right rear corner. I could go on but it’s not worth it….Literally. I sent 4 emails concerning this to A.R.E. with no reply. So much for customer service. The dealer here was as helpful as they could be considering what they had to work with. After all they didn’t build it. With some modifications on my part these issues will be taken care of,no thanks to ARE. I also ordered this shell with the ladder rack and from experience I would have been better off buying a kit on eBay. Can’t recommend ARE or there aluminum shell for our application. This was a special order we had to wait weeks for and what a disappointment."

"Not the best place to work. Lots of health hazards, but if your looking for a temp or a few year job, it's not bad. Pays good. As far as cap quality goes. It's pretty good."

"I just had this installed 2 days ago and have already been back to the dealer for factory quality issues. I paid a little more for the Z series and am disappointed with quality. Factory installed window side strip was torn (and poorly glued back?) and the other side is crooked, a piece of interior liner is missing, an extraneous nail fell out of the drop down front window and, even though they had my truck VIN #, they managed to use the wrong paint code. I am returning to the dealer as advised by ARE contact persons (not helpful) even though the dealer is not the issue, Dealership was outstanding! I would not recommend this product."

"Delivery... parking lot is a little tight. Just be careful. I have to say probably one of the best places I have ever delivered to. I talked with three different employees, they were all super nice and helpful. Easy money"
