"I was in a wedding 6 months ago and it was absolutely horrendous. Flowers arrived 4 hours later than the requested time and we were told it was our fault and it was our fault if we “wanted our flowers to die” by having them delivered earlier. The bride literally did her first look with picked wildflowers because we assumed they forgot about the wedding and we couldn’t get a hold of them. They also claimed the bride sent the requested time past the window they accepted changes which was factually incorrect and we have the dated emails to prove that. Yes, brides take pictures with their flowers pre-ceremony. That has always been the case for weddings and will never not be the case. And yes, flowers may slightly wilt throughout the day. Because they’re live flowers and that’s what live flowers do. That concept is understood by everyone. I was in shock when I saw them blame the lack of communication on the client and refused to at the VERY LEAST be kind, professional, or understanding. I wouldn’t want anyone to have this experience…Don’t recommend for weddings :("

"I booked The Flower Petal for my September 2023 wedding, and everything was absolutely gorgeous. All of our arrangements were beautiful, delivered on time, and exceeded my expectations. My vision included blush/white florals with a flowy feel-- Andrea and her team went to work with the details/colors I described and it matched my thoughts perfectly. I am currently trying to dry/preserve my flowers because they were just that gorgeous! She also designed two special arrangements for shepherds' hooks (our alternative to the "arch") and they were so, so pretty. I do not understand all of the negative reviews for this vendor. I had a very pleasant experience working with Andrea and she delivered exactly what we wanted, when we wanted. I also deeply appreciated how affordable the Flower Petal's pricing was for such lovely arrangements. While there was minimal communication/interaction, I actually didn't mind this because so many vendors can be *too* involved throughout the planning process. If I did have any questions, Andrea responded within 24-48 hours, and I think that is more than fair. Please do not let the negative reviews color your judgment. This is a hardworking vendor and I had a very positive experience. I wish I could upload more, but we only have our sneak peeks so far. I will update if I can! "I used this vendor for my wedding and they made my wedding experience the absolute worse. I paid for the largest of their flower options and they delivered their smallest. They were so rude to the wedding coordinators, wedding planners, and myself. I cried and begged for them to do the right thing and give me what me and my husband paid for and they said, “they were too tired and had other orders to fill” I couldn’t believe this was happening to me, it was literally like a bad dream! The vendor where we had our wedding is called “The Tangier” and it’s located in Akron, OH. The coordinator for that facility said that this company “The Flower Petal” located in downtown Cleveland, OH is BANNED due to negligence and unprofessionalism to me as their client and them as hosts and owners of the facility. I found this company on Instagram and saw that they did an amazing job as it relates to weddings and they did they very opposite. I hope this review helps, I wouldn’t want anyone to expedite what me and my husband experienced with this vendor. NEVER AGAIN, and I DO NOT RECOMMEND, I’m sorry!"

"WARNING!!! 0 Stars Had them bring flowers for our wedding. Day of wedding no contact and prior communication to bring flowers for pictures. Arrived late by 3 hours from communicated time. The customer service is terrible and very egotistical. Would not recommend at all. STAY AWAY **Reply to comment below Good thing it is not your wedding, it should be your job to bring the flowers when we would like the flowers. I don't care if you thought they were going to die in the Sun, if I want the flowers there at 12:30 and THEN BRING THE FLOWERS AT 12:30. You are to provide a service for the customer. That is why you get zero stars because you did no such thing."
