"Recently purchased a 6 qt bowl from Kitchenaid / Whirlpool, but unfortunately, I received a 5 qt bowl in the box. I immediately contacted their customer service via email, explaining the situation. To my surprise, I was directed to the warranty department, even though this was clearly a packaging error on their end. The warranty department responded, instructing me to call for further assistance. After spending time on the phone, I found the experience frustrating and unhelpful. All the information I provided in my initial email seemed to be disregarded. This kind of service is unacceptable. A packaging mistake should be a straightforward issue to resolve, but the runaround and lack of clear communication have left me extremely dissatisfied. I had high hopes for a quick resolution, but unfortunately, my experience with Kitchenaid / Whirlpool has been far from satisfactory. I cannot recommend them based on this frustrating incident."
"- Abundant harassment among employees and leadership. - Favortism shown by leadership towards their peers. - Miscommunication and drama constantly spread among leadership and employees. These are just a few of the setbacks when working at Whirlpool. I Started working here in November of 2021 and have been harassed nonstop by managment and the line lead for a little over a year. What a joke the place is. I'm sure management would be laughing while reading this as they did when I mentioned harassment. It shows their main priority in the workplace. Just imagine middle-aged adults with families of their own, and going into work everyday with a main priority of harassing a 22 - 23 year old young man for no apparent reason, lol."
"They give hire you then except their offer. Then they make you jump through all the hoops then tell you your orientation date is a month out. Then no communication for 3weeks. The week prior to starting after I emailed and texted them the whole week about starting the day of orientation they say all hiring is put on hold. If this is how bad it is before you get hired i can't imagine how bad it is after you start working for them. I turned down other job offers only to get shafted the im suppose to start."
"This experience is for the stove - not the Lowe’s store where it was purchased- this is a kitchen aid stove! It is aesthetically beautiful- functionality superb - the turn knobs click to adjust the temperature which can a safety feature. I cooked red hots and eggs on equivalent of a 3-4 setting -to perfection- if a person not used to cooking - play with the temps but for me- I was able to jump right in.I would say - this is not a cheap stove-looking forward to cooking a lot of food in the future. I’ll update when using the oven!"
"I'm all-for buying directly from a manufacturer and cutting out the middle-man, but PLEASE do yourself a favor and buy your KitchenAid product from a local retail store (whether it's Walmart, Target, etc.) instead of buying from KitchenAid.com. The return process was a NIGHTMARE. I returned my product in December 2021, and it was marked as received by KitchenAid about 6 days later. However, it was stuck in teh "processing" phase for TWO MONTHS. I called KitchenAid's customer service line every week to check for an update, but I received an excuse every time about "holiday delays". I can understand about a month for a refund on a shipped item, but two months with zero updates is outrageous. I will NEVER buy from KitchenAid.com ever again."
