"Buyer beware Sales woman (Jenna) came to my home to give demo. After also giving a pitch for renovations which I'd never asked for, she came up with a figure for the softener and RO system of $6,000 (almost double the amount for the same service and products I received from a competitor after the fact). After explaining I needed to get a few other quotes, she came down to under $3,750 after several attempts to haggle which was a red flag. I called 2 days later to take her up on her quote. I asked about financing options and figured it was worth a shot. I had just purchased a new home and boat so unfortunately I had to much revolving credit at the time of inquiry. Now, here's the major problem: Jenna ran 2 hard checks on my credit while over the phone with me and, once we decided I would just pay debit up front, she came back to my home that day and I was then told I'd have to have a plumber come out and "up my well tank pressure" before they would install a water softener. When I questioned the logic behind increasing the tank pressure, she phoned her installer who then simply explained he wouldnt install with a shallow well. Jenna had taken all the metrics down that she needed when she made her initial visit, she was also made explicitly aware at that time that this was indeed a shallow well. Why was I not notified that they would be unable to service my current setup before she ran 2 hard checks on my credit? I understand the want to close a deal, but at my expense? I've called Leaf several times since to rectify and not once has anyone reached back out to assist. This may be why names such as Waterboy and Culligan prevail. It just may be, they are the more honest, viable option. Leaf, please touch base so we can rectify."

They were able to send out someone to go over everything and test my water the next day if I wanted. The appointment went awesome.
