"First off, half the reviews are for the park itself and not for the DISC GOLF bit. So you can ignore those. This West Branch Disc Golf Course is a real gem. My son and I have played many courses in the area, and this is in the top 5. Every hole has tree obstacles, and a couple have water to contend with. The distances aren't too far, and other than some sapling tree stumps all over to trip on, the course is very well maintained. We especially liked how well everything is marked. There's only one hole that is slightly confusing (the one after the water hole.) Compared to "The Grassman" on the other side of the lake, we considered this a great course for the beginning to average player. The Grassman is more demanding, has 18 holes instead of 9, and is much less forgiving. That being said, every time we come here, we play both courses and have a great time doing so."

"We travel with a group of people and Camp frequently. More often than not at state campgrounds. We have been coming here for six to eight years. Multiple times a year. We've never had any problems and always enjoyed going there. Well this year there's a guy running around in a golf cart, possibly a park employee possibly a camp host. If it is a camp host it is not the one from the area that we were staying in. He was going around from site to site yelling at everybody for things that are absolutely normal to be done at the campground. Things that we have been doing at this park and other state parks in Ohio for many many years he has threatened us with $100 fines repeatedly. Since, according to him, we were not allowed to fill our campers with water we started using the shower house. I had no idea that they did not have hot water in the shower. It got warmish but not hot. Does lukewarm water was also no good for doing dishes. We had to boil water in the camper and carry it over to the dishwashing area. Years ago we were told that when we're leaving if the dump stations are backed up and some of the full hookup sites were empty we could just pull off in there and dump. He put a stop to that as well. Leaving a back up probably 15 campers deep for each dump station. Several people from our group chose not to dump at the campground and left without dumping. We will not be returning."

"Love this place! Bathrooms and showers are very clean. Beautiful lots! Not enough full hook ups though and they never seem available. Beach is small but quaint. They offer campers some free activities. We went kayaking. Sooo pretty! Saw a beaver and a few dams. Washers and dryers are available at the shower houses. A small store for those items you forgot or some snacks. There's a nice boat ramp. Lots of hiking trails. Playground is near the park entrance. I don't advise bringing in a 5th wheel at night. Had a hard time because we were close to a ditch and we couldn't see. Thank God for patient helpful neighbors!"
