Reviews
"** Updating in 2023*** I have changed my review from 1 star to 5. A change in staffing has made all the difference. This location is now clean, efficient and pleasant. I choose this location more often than not as it is conveniently located on my way to and from other locations in town. Management here is pleasant and made the right choices/changes to staffing and customer service and it has made all the difference! ______________________________ Couldn't agree more with the other reviews. For starters, this location is way too slow. There is almost always a line which makes no sense for a rural location in a small town. Because I have 2 business accounts and a home address in this city, I am frequently forced to visit this location for package pick up and to drop off of boxes and metered items and I loathe every trip I know I need to make. The female employee is outstanding and I convince myself that she makes up for the lack of speed, lack of customer service skill and shrewdness of the older male employee but it is becoming more and more difficult to believe this. If management has any sense they should consider giving him a pat on the back and a polite going away party and send him on his way! Today As I was dropping off 25 medium sized already metered envelopes into the inside drop box (not that I should have to explain why I chose one method of drop off over another but it was b/c it was raining outside and the drive up box is in the most inefficient and awkward location AND is too low to easily access in a truck or SUV) an employee grabbed the last 5 of my envelopes through the slot before they slid down into the holding container. I replied "thank you, that makes things easier" to which a gruff male voice replied " you know you could bring them inside to the counter, that would make it easier." Why does it matter to him how I get them to the employees? So my reply... " This IS a mail drop box is it not? It wouldn't be easier because I don't want to wait in line, this is already metered". Today's experience has solidly confirmed that I will make all future mail related visits to the Miamisburg branch where every employee has been friendly, efficient and helpful on every visit I can ever remember and I won't even care that the line might have more people in it because it still moves faster."
"To bad I can't give no stars. The postmaster Wayne has no idea how to do his job and the snobby girl before him didn't know anything either. The girls that work behind the counter are the one's that know how to run the place"
"Jenna is a gem, always a great experience if she's the one working. The old dude that everyone is complaining about has not been there for a couple of years now. The postmaster that started during the pandemic has no idea what she's doing, if you walk in and she's behind the counter come back another time. Hopefully she moves along soon."
"I have to agree with everyone else, the lady the works there is very kind and a fantastic employee. The older guy (who I think might be the postmaster which explains why he still has a job) has always been outright rude, insulting, slow and one of the most unfriendly people I've ever had to deal with in a customer service related position. If you have ANY questions he will treat you like you're a moron. If USPS cared about their customers such a terrible employee wouldn't be allowed to ruin things for everyone."
"I had a good experience here last week and wanted to share to help balance out many of the bad reviews: I was shipping something international for the first time and wasn't sure what I was getting into. The lady working at the time commented that the country I was shipping to was one she hadn't sent to before so she almost seemed excited to try and help me get it all figured out. She helped me fill out all of the required forms in a way that would speed things through customs and my package arrived to where it needed to go on time."
