Sims Park Disc Golf Course

"A solid disc golf course. The front nine is well-varied, a bit technical, and has some beautiful views of the lake. The back nine is much more straightforward with long, open holes. Generally, the grounds are pretty well taken care of, and the tees/baskets are in good condition. There are also two practice baskets near the parking lot."

"Actually went there for Natives in Harmony (annual?) plant sale. So difficult finding flowering perennials for my shaded back yard (that aren't invasive & deer resistant). But I got 2 (Common Blue Violet & a Butterflyweed), planted/watering as I type. I walked a little bit of the park & though spacious, there aren't many picnic tables (I only saw 5). Maybe its popularity is because of the beach accesses."

"great view of the lake nice scenic views alot of parking stores nearby if you are looking to have a quick picnic. Near the theater so after the show you can take a walk on the beach. enjoy!"

"Loved the hole layout and the location right on the lake! Good mix of open field and woods shots. All holes were marked shorter than they actually are (measured with a rangefinder) but not off by more than 15 feet on most of them."
