"Being a new client referred from new employer GE that I join the credit union. I will say this the GE credit union sucks and needs to hire professional branch managers. I was told when joining that "cashiers checks" were free. Upon trying to get a cashier check I was told I had to pay $5.00 and it was up to the discretion of the branch manager. The branch were I was conducting business, the manager told me that I need to pay the $5.00 fee. I withdrew my $70,000.00 and took my business back to my bank Chase where cashiers checks are free! A poor choice in treatment of a new client."
