"We ordered a refrigerator from Home Depot, with installation and hook up. Freight Right Inc. was the company they hired to deliver it. They showed up 1/2 hour early. The driver came into house. Looked at our refrigerator and said he wouldnt install our new Appliance because he would have to reach into the cupboard to turn off the water and that he didn't go into cupboards. My wife asked him To wait a minute while she unhooked the refrigeratoer, he told her he couldn't wait more than 15 min and he couldn't be in the house while she unhooked the hose.. in less than 5 minutes it was disconnected and he was no where to be found.. he didn't wait 15 min. He didn't wait 5 minutes. He just left. We had his number from when he called to tell us he he was on the way, we called him and he said he couldn't come back unless his boss told him to. We called Freight Rite Inc multiple times and got no answer. Home depot called multiple times and got no answer. This company doesn't care about tour appliances. Nor will they care about answering the phone when the people who hired them try to contact them. We canceled our order. If Home Depot doesnt care enough about their customers orders to ensure the delivery, then we will shop elsewhere."
"If I could of have them no starts I would have. They do not deserve any stars at all. This company really shouldn’t be in business at all. I ordered a refrigerator back in middle of July from Home Depot, refrigerator was suppose to be delivered on August 12. US Pack called and canceled my order and rescheduled it to Thursday, September 9 from 9am -1:30pm. No call show in between this time frame, I had to call them at 1:45 to find out where they were at with my refrigerator. Customer service didn’t have a clue and all she could tell me is they will call 30 minutes before arriving. I called again at 4pm and was told I was number 12 and they were dropping off number 11 and I will be the next delivery drop at between 5:30pm & 6:30pm. 5:30pm-6:30pm came and went. I called them back and Ms. June tells me that my delivery will not be arriving today and the earliest they can reschedule me was for Saturday, September 11 with NO definitive time. This is very unacceptable, inconsiderate and very unprofessional. They have NO regards for customers time and what they have to do throughout the so called delivery schedule. Oh and then that Ms. June tells me I could drive to Ohio and pick up the refrigerator from the warehouse. They are unbelievable! I canceled my order. I will be contacting Home Depot as well."
"I'm taking off a star because the first time they tried to make delivery of a major appliance from Home Depot, they got lost and gave up after going to 4 incorrect locations. On their second attempt, they called with a 4 hour delivery time. When they were 20 minutes away, they called to let me know. On the second attempt, they found my home. The crew was professional, polite, and they did a good job installing the new appliance and removed the old one without damage to my home. I've seen some pretty dismal reviews here. Maybe it depends on the region you live in. I live in Southern New Jersey and I have no complaints with their services. Home Depot made a good choice of delivery companies to use."
"Left things much worse than when they arrived. They put a huge hole in our laundry room wall and then hid it behind items they'd moved aside while I signed and let them go. The dryer is dirty and the gas leak test fluid was never opened. I'm not sure it's safe to use. They didn;t install the new vent that I paid for and they bent the old one so much that I doubt air can get out. Shoddy and unsafe."
"Absolutely TERRIBLE .... We ordered appliances from Home Depot! Our first delivery was damaged. We were rescheduled one week later. They told us they would call with a delivery date, no call. I had to call to find out when our redelivery was. Fast forward a week, I get a phone call 30 mins before our 4 hour window explaining that there was an emergency and that they would not make the delivery this evening. Mind you... this is Thanksgiving Eve and all appliances were torn out in preparation for the delivery! I called and spoke with the company, the call center agent was rude and sounded like he was eating his dinner in my ear. They rescheduled us another 7 days out, claiming that was the "next available delivery." I ask for a manager which he said just left, when I pushed further he brought a manager on the line. The manager began to explain the same thing, that there was no available deliveries for 7 days. He explained that we cannot make other customers upset who have a scheduled delivery "just to make me happy"! Basically I was bumped to the end of the delivery list because of this companies issue! This is the poorest customer service I've ever experienced! Home Depot should seriously consider contracting with a delivery company such as this!"
