"Great transit service! So much better than in any big American city. Go Rapid!!"

"I left a warm restaurant on a cold evening to catch a bus supposedly coming in 11 minutes on 28th Street. At all times walking there I could see 28th. It never came. To make matters worse the "real time" info on the RAPID website then had a bus coming a half hour later, which never did. After walking a mile to Kentwood Station so I'd have a couple options I opened the schedules. Turns out there hadn't been another bus scheduled for an hour on Saturday. That info the second bus was coming would have been right on a weekday!"

"At least 3 times a week my scheduled buses just don't come, and I'm usually left waiting at least another hour for the next one. A lot of the drivers are wreckless, whipping around corners, speeding then slamming on their breaks when they see someone at a bus stop. It's all terrible. Using transit to get to and from work as well as appointments almost always gets me there late. I know it's an extremely stressful job and you guys are constantly losing staff and people calling in, but you have to do better. Not everyone has a car or access to one and we should not be treated like lesser citizens."

"Buses randomly disappear. Customer service is non-existent. Told someone on the phone exactly what stop I’m at and she said “I don’t know where that is” and then lied and said the stop I was sitting at was on detour. They have rabid dogs in security costumes that harass you for fare when half of the stops that sell fare don’t work. Drivers used to be kind now are just rude and don’t know where anything is. Every other stop is either under construction or out of order."

"Overall my experiences with The Rapid have been quite pleasant. However, many of my experiences with their drivers both as a passenger and as a pedestrian have left me rather disturbed. I have witnessed many unsafe driving habits and many of the drivers seem to have little regard for their passengers much less their jobs. Their communication verbal and nonverbal alike speaks VOLUMES."
