"The retail director threatened me while I worked here and they’ll take 3 hours to get done with your hiring process just to rescind it…"
"I got fired in 2008 for sitting less than 2 minutes from a fractured ankle earlier that year. They fired me because they said I was stealing time. Not to mention that Delaware North has snobby upper hand employees. When I worked the beer stands I made a lot of tips on big attendance game days and nights. This place should be out of business."
"They charge 20 plus dollars for a glass of wine at Charleston Airport with no pricing on menu. Class action law suit is in order for ripping people off."
"UPDATE: Delaware North offered a $65 refund. However, if you're looking to get an authentic personalized Reds jersey, do yourself a favor and go to Koch's on 4th Street (they make all the players' team jerseys). A couple of weeks ago, I stopped in to the Reds pro team shop, next to the Hall of Fame, and bought an Authentic road jersey upstairs (it was on sell for $50, a great deal as they are normally $220). I paid an additional $65 to have it personalized with my nickname on the back and a number on it. However, when I picked it up, there was no number on the front and the corners of some of the letters were coming up. I asked about numbers being put on the front and was told: 1). they don't do that and 2). even if they did, they couldn't because they did not have the small "1" (I had "19" put on the back). If you look at the attached receipt it does talk about "fan zone front"… I erroneously assumed this meant the numbers would be put on the front of the jersey (attached). Also the numbers and letters were just pressed on. If I were to order a personalized jersey from the MLB site, they would be sewn on with a number on the front. Additionally, I took this jersey to Koch's sporting goods to have numbers sewn on the front, and the numbers and lettering on the back also sewn down…I should have taken the blank jersey there in the first place! Much to my disappointment, Koch's pointed out that the "K" in the name, on the back, of my jersey was the wrong size; it was smaller than the rest of the letters (a very old letter from previous uniform iteration; photo attached)!! Fortunately the glue on the back of the letters was so substandard (according to Koch's; to wit: the edges of some letters sticking up) the small "k" was able to be peeled off very easily and replaced with the correct size and sewn on. This is unacceptable on your part! All told, it cost me $53 to fix these problems from you store! (Attached)"
