"Yay--for the years of Fairfield University Basketball (1059-2021) on the George Bisacca Court at Alumni Hall. The hall was recently demolished to make room for a new facility. How lucky was I to come across the Artsman website advertising they had pieces of wood that were part of the game-used section of the court and they were selling them. With Father's Day approaching, I thought this would be a GREAT gift for my husband Steve who played b-ball as a Stag. And, Alumni Hall was probably the first place I saw Steve as I cheered on the Stags many years ago. (Here we are--still together almost 50 years later.) Steve was sooo touched to receive this gift. What made the gift even sweeter was that it arrived the Friday before Father's Day. In error, the piece of memorabilia had the "Fairfield Prep" not "Fairfield University" logo on it. I called Artsman and received immediate service from Kelly. He was most helpful! He couldn't have been kinder. Kelly said her would package a corrected piece of wood with the FU logo on it and get in out immediately so that it would arrive in time for Father's Day. And, it did! Steve was very touched and I was very happy. We shared the story with our kids and grandkids.. Thanks Kelly and thanks Artsman for this special gift.
