"Beautiful area great history"

"Unbelievably poor customer service and communication. I called on Friday 1/27/23 interested in a used trailer. Justin gave me the gate code to come and see the trailer the next day (Saturday) when the business was closed. I asked Justin if I liked the trailer and wanted to make a deal, if I could call him on Monday to work something out and he told me yes. On the following Monday morning 1/30/23 I called and offered a price, he ran it by the owner Leah and when he called me back he told me they were firm. I told him that I needed to talk it over with my husband but I was interested. Justin said I could think about it and call him back. I told him I would call him back within 24 hours. The next morning, 1/31/23 I called to talk to Justin and he was busy, so I talked to Leah and told her I wanted the trailer and asked her if I could make an appointment to pick it up the following Saturday. Leah told me she would let Justin know and that he would call me. Justin called me back to tell me that he had accepted a deposit at 4pm the day prior (the day he told me to think it over and call him back) on the trailer I wanted. I was in absolute shock, as Justin never once offered for me to put a deposit down even though he knew I was very interested. Lakota did not hold up to their end of a deal and I am extremely disappointed. Instead of selling the trailer to me, the original person, they are selling it out from under me. I had planned to buy a new Lakota in a few years but I will never ever do business with them."

"The service department saved the day! We were traveling through and our travel trailer had a smoking brake. Luckily it happened on the interstate right at the exit for Lakota. They were short-staffed but still got us in and replaced the brake assembly. Thank you Lakota for helping us out!"
