"Awesome and amazing out of this world place to clear your mind of the hustle and bustle of this world. Entertaining and welcoming!"
"Went for the Thursday latin night dance events to this place a few times after the nearby salsa on the square event. I usually wear a bandana but the bouncers at the entrace sometimes ask me to remove it. But then after walking in I saw some of the bartenders wearing a bandana on a couple of occasions so I was a little confused. I thought I'll check on what the rules are regarding dress codes on their facebook page. Turns out they don't have one and I ended up talking to the management of a different Azul restaurant by accident. On my last visit the doorman, Daniel, said there's no bandanas allowed. I proceeded to show them the discussion I had and asked him it's the same Azul because they're saying something different. He proceeded to be extremely rude with me (resulting in insultng me in front of my friends) and saying either "remove the bandana or get out". I said I'm removing it but at least let me know if this is the same restaurant. He said he doesn't care. After I walked in, I see a bartender wearing a bandana and multiple people with different types of head accessories everywhere. Needless to say I did not have a good time after that kind of an interaction with the staff right at the door. If you're willing to pay for overpriced drinks while being treated poorly by the staff there, it's a good fit for you. Then again your experience might end up being more pleasant than mine. I personally intend to avoid this place."
"Ethan and Reed are the best bar tenders I've met since I been in Cincinnati. I'm from Alabama just moved here and they made me love the area even more. Definitely recommend going here and having drinks. My drink was the electric and I feel great!! Don Julio was mixed in my electric. Happy hour for 7 dollars . One drink and I was happy"
"Came here on a night out with some friends to celebrate a job promotion. The bar is divided into two parts, one for dancing and one where you can stand and have a conversation a little more easily, both sides have bars. Drinks were a little expensive but not the worst ever, about $9-$10 for small well drinks. The bathrooms were nice and clean as well (love to see it). We had a table and received bottle service, not a fan of bottle service or having tables so I don’t do it often but it seemed like everything was in check and the service was good. The music was good as well and i definitely danced the night away (feet are still sore as of writing this). Some guys were smoking cigars inside right next to the bouncers as well which wasn’t the worst thing ever but my clothes reeked of cigar in the morning. The biggest gripe I had with this place was the dress code, and I seem not to be alone. I had no clue I would end up here at the start of the night and was wearing jeans, a hoodie, and a hat. There was nothing about dress code when I looked the place up or when I entered. It was later in the night when a bouncer pulled me by my hoodie at the neck and rudely told me I wasn’t dressed appropriately and had to take my hat off. I was gob-stopped. This was a limited edition John Deere hat, possibly one of a kind, and I was told I couldn’t wear it and that I was not dressed appropriately. I thought I was about to be kicked out after our group spent $500+ on bottle service. They need to make it well known there is a dress code if there is going to be one. After reading some of these other reviews it seems they are picky about dress but I wonder if the "dress code" is really just an excuse for them to deny entry to people they don't want in. Not cool, 2/10."
"Here Thursday night was turned down because I had on a pretty glitter sandle black African female . Yet a dog was in there and a Caucasian lady with sandals . I was told it’s because the owner only approves certain people ! What a disrespectful thing to say ! It was my friend bday we were turned away . I asked for owner was told by the security a tall dark guy and short man that the owner has no name !! I will never ever forget how I was treated I wanna speak to the manger ASAP this is discrimination !"
