"TLDR; solid used cars at great prices. I was looking for a solid four wheel drive SUV (NOT a crossover) with a manual transmission. Found a car on craigslist for this place. I drove an hour out to see it, and I'm happy to see it is as described. Nothing hidden, all there including VIN and details. I first met Al who was courteous and even broke the rules. Local issues have caused the area to stop offering a public restroom, but he saw my peepee dance and let me in. Got me all set up for the test drive, confirmed I could drive stick, and sent me on my way. I had some questions and he was straight forward and told me he couldn't answer them, but told me how he would get them answered. I got back, and he had directions ready for me to get everything else answered. He didn't mind that I went over this truck with a magnifying glass (figuratively, I only used my OBDII, flashlight, manual, and a sweater to lay on the ground). Mike and one of the mechanics went over all of my questions. At first I thought maybe they were full of poop on the hesitations I had, but they pulled out their real diagnostic gear, let me drive and verify it. Although this could have been a twenty minute process, they let me drag it out an hour Sunday, and over three hours Monday. Payment/finance was awesome. I've had people try to put me through the ringer at other dealerships, but it couldn't have been simpler. It took about a half hour, and that's because half way through I talked to my wife for 15 minutes. Janet was personable and friendly. Since these are used cars (mine is over a decade old! I had to have THIS EXACT ONE lol) I do recommend going over them. Remember, people have owned them before and they have spent their lives out in the real world. . . Driving! If it wasn't for being an hour plus away, I'd send all my people here."
"Bought a 2004 Grand Am from Mike and the team. Great car for a great price! No leaks, runs great, and is super clean for a $2,500 car. We even bargained and he accepted! Now for those of you out there, a car for under $5,000 isn’t going to be perfect. Other than fixing the stereo, exhaust, and some other cosmetics in the interior, the car is great! Thanks to the friendly staff, I will definitely be looking here first when I am ready to purchase my next car (hopefully in a few years)!!!"
"Super Happy! 2006 BMW with 100k+ miles. A true gem of a car/find at 1st step. I was serious about buying the car, and serious about some things getting fixed (which he agreed to)--and he fixed them before I bought the car. I'm writing this review 5 months after buying the car because today they called me to tell me they found the extra key to my car---That shows how much they care to follow up and make sure you have a great experience even after buying the car. That saved me approx. $200. Oh! also, I've been back a few times to ask about maintenance stuff for my car and he always offers reliable and cost friendly mechanics. Remember!! It's a used car lot...so there's going to be a few things wrong with the car(fact), just make sure you have it inspected before buying--I truly believe they have many hidden gems on that lot...find yours! -Sam"
"DO NOT GO HERE! !! MY DAUGHTER bought a car from here. In the first week she owned this car she had to do repairs. Not to mention she had a one month old at the time. Lucky for my daughter my uncle is a licensed mechanic and owns a garage. So our repair bills are at his cost and no labor. That being said. She had put over $3500 in this car. And it still needs the front end fixed. They seen a young girl coming she paid 2500 for the car when I called for payoff today they said 2170 thru have the car and can keep it. The front end isn't the only problem it also had electrical issues."
"I will say first and foremost, I have purchased a vehicle from this establishment. But, at this point I wish I wouldn't have. This is your classic wheel and deal type of shop. Upon arrival, it was difficult to find parking as their lot does not accommodate the amount of vehicles they stock, which I guess isn't horrible as they had plenty of cars to choose from. But I came for a specific car I found on CraigsList, the pictures online were without a doubt deceiving. This car was pretty beat up compared to what the pictures showed. I called and talked to the salesman "Mike" prior to making the 3 and a half hour drive, which I made clear I was making as I didn't want to make a trip for a junker. He assured me this was a perfectly well running car, that had nothing wrong with it. No leaks, no grinding, no clunking. He said he would've given it to his daughter had it not been a manual transmission. I took the car for a drive, seemed like a nice enough drive, although the interior was shot, burn marks in the seats (not photographed), clear coat on the hood was pealing on half the hood a pretty good dent on it too that also wasn't visible in the pictures, the front lip on the bumper was held on by zipties also wasn't mentioned in the post or really noticeable in pictures, also the driver side seat did not lock in its forward-reverse range of motion (there was a 4x4 chunk of lumber that was in the trunk (used to keep it in place when needed)), the trunk also had a pretty fair size dent that wasn't captured in any photos. I'm not one to really care about all of this stuff, specifically the aesthetic aspects, but the fact that it wasn't known until after I made the drive was a little discerning. I was really uneasy because he couldn't provide me a maintenance history or anything with the car, and I was fearful that it needed the timing belt changed. So despite all that, I end up taking the car home, attempted to negotiate a better price, due to the seat and lack of maintenance history, but he assured me he needed everything he was asking for, and offered an extended warranty to put my mind at ease about the possibility of future repairs (I know... how could I fall for this... but I did). A week after having the car home, before even having insurance put on it or getting the title, it starts leaking coolant, 3 weeks in and my brakes start squeeking. As I'm replacing the brakes, oh what do you know... both CV boots are cracked. And the list keeps building up. I understand that things break on a car, and maintenance is a normal thing. But I haven't even had the car that I was assured was in 'great mechanical condition, despite the dings here and there' for a 2 months and this is a little overboard. I wouldn't trust this guy with anything, he's a swindler. He will tell you what you want to hear in order for you to walk out with something. He'll play it cool, by seeming uninterested in the sale the whole "take it or leave it" attitude. If I could recommend one thing to potential customers, even though his deals are appealing: dont take it, and LEAVE IT.\ EDIT: Oh, and if your wondering, "Derrik, why didn't you just use the warranty that Mike sold you to cover all the repairs you're having to do?" It's because that warranty is garbage, and they don't cover anything. Their terms are impossible to meet. They won't cover my CV Axles (even though it's listed as part of the coverage) because the boot is cracked... Well the only way a CV axle goes bad is from the boot cracking. It's always the root cause of noise created by the axle."
