"Lots of skate shoes, helmets. Restrooms clean. Needs more Parking lot space."
"This rink is always clean & very comfortable to be at as a fan & a skater. The concession stand is also ran well, fully stocked & has friendly staff. The only reason I’m giving it a lower rating is bc it’s difficult to get skates sharpened (machine is often needing serviced) or rent sharp skates. That makes such a big impact on the quality of skating we can experience."
"Both of my sons play hockey. My oldest skates at least twice a week. So, I can speak from experience when I say that it's really difficult to find a good rink in Southwest Ohio. It's difficult to overstate the value that the Chiller brings to Springfield and Dayton. There are three rinks in the Dayton Metro area, if you consider Troy a part of it. Two of those rinks are closed at least four months of the year. The other is not a fun place to play. In addition to some other, smaller but important cities, the Chiller is within reasonable driving distance of Dayton (I could make the trip every day) and Columbus. It's also extremely well-managed by friendly, understanding, and responsive staff. This is evidenced by the clean and well-maintained facilities - something that's rarer than most might realize - and the extensive, meticulously developed programming, which includes lessons/practice on several concepts within both hockey and skating. Moreover, we've only been here for the past five weekends, and I can absolutely list more than that number of pleasant, productive interactions I've had with employees. I hope Ohio Health, NTPRD, and CBJ keep doing what they're doing here."
"This a very nice facility. You can learn to skate here, learn how to play hockey, and even play on a hockey team. Everyone is very nice and eager to help and learn. Prices are reasonable. There is a concession stand. It is very reasonable well. Remember you hate going to an ice rink bring a hoodie it is chilly."
"Super clean facility with a really great staff :) Hockey games are a must, especially to watch the Dayton Fire team play! Free skate is amazing fun, its never crowded but I wish they would let you free skate for longer than just 2hrs on specific days during specific time frames. Only cost $15 for two ppl and one skate rental so a really cheap date idea...as long as your willing to fall down a few times lol."
