"If your looking for a bank that cares about its customers or a bank that doesn't charge for every aspect of what they do then this is not the bank for you I was a member at this bank for over 3 years in that span of time I ran a business thru this bank and any time I tried to cash a check they wanted me to match the funds even if the customer had an account there I explained my situation and they responded with that's just how we run our bank so I pulled my $10,000 out and went elsewhere I made my way back in there today to cash a customer check who has an account there and they wanted to charge me $25.00 to cash it this bank only wants your money I hope this steers others away from this bank save your pennies people this bank has no problem keeping them"
"Such a great bank. Bowling Green & Pemberville drive-thru have excellent customer service. Security for debt card GOOD."
"Decided to cash a check written to me drawn from this bank to avoid the delay in processing if I just deposited it in my own checking account at another bank, especially since it was a Friday. Excessive fees for cashing a check drawn on their bank. Demand for social security number even after providing state drivers license, then when questioned on why I needed to write down my ssn on a sticky note I'm treated a though I'm the problem. Would NEVER bank here. Thankfully the new Chase bank in town, where I have my personal account, has very pleasant people and a nice atmosphere. Every experience I've had with credit unions through the years have almost always been negative... EDIT: I can understand that there may be requirements (though charging people to cash a check drawn on your bank isn't a state or federal requirement, just a really underhanded general banking practice) My issue is that as a consumer I not only have a right but a responsibility to question how where and why my information is going to be used, ESPECIALLY a SSN#. When I stated I was uncomfortable and had questions an answer other than take your check and leave from both the teller and the manager would have been nice. After politely but firmly stating I would like to know why my SSN was needed and what it would be used for and getting only "because we require it" and "give it or take your check and leave" I asked to speak to the manager......the Teller leaves but the conversation with the manager in her office was easily audible to the entire bank, the manager then comes over with the "I am siding with the teller before I even talk to you attitude, reinstates "its policy do it or take your check and leave" at no point was either person the least bit understanding that I might have a right to understand how my personal information was to be used."
