Reviews of Mill Creek Golf Club
"This was one of my favorite places to play. I am intimidated by other courses, since I am new to the game. I loved Everything about the course. Sadly, that all changed July,24,2023. I was grabbing my driver, out of my golf bag, behind the cart and the last thing I remember, is the young Teen golfer, they put with us last minute, looking up from his cell phone before he hit me with his cart pinning me to mine…. I then hit my head on the roof support bar and fell to the ground, at which time, the teen hit the accelerator instead of the brake and literally ran over me…. Mostly, lower abdomen, hip and leg. Granted, Mill Creek can’t determine how people maneuver the carts, yet they can determine the age limit. Most courses are 18, not 16. He had just recently gotten his driver’s license and was more concerned with his cell phone, than watching where he was going. I was lifted into the cart by my father and he rushed back to the clubhouse. The teen admitted it was his fault and he was beyond distressed. I was in shock and in severe pain. They did not have a First Aid Kit and my dad, who I was playing with… had to go to his car for band aids. The manager walked out and poured rubbing alcohol into the gash on my leg that sent me through the roof. They treated me like there was nothing wrong with me…. She never asked me any details of the accident. She was more consumed with the upset teen. Several golfers drove up and were extremely concerned after seeing what had happened and the manager waived them off saying… “she’s fine, she just got hit by a golf cart” ?! To calm the teen down, she assured him my leg was not broke and the most that would happen, is, he would have to pay my copay???!! Then, finally, she turned to me and said, in a condescending manner, “do you need me to call the squad or are you ok” At this point I was in severe pain humiliated and wanting out of there….. after I was helped into our car… “ she proceeded to run up to us to let us know she refunded our money and asked what hole were we on?!!! We were on the 5th hole, teeing up. She then said,” well at least you got to enjoy several holes?!” I never heard, “I am sorry this happened “ OR how about “we will be in contact to give you (at the very least) 3 months free golf,” nothing. She did follow up, after my husband and father went back to talk with her. She said she will use it as a learning experience. I had a concussion, that took 8 weeks to get over, whiplash, contusions, no lateral movement with my right knee for 6 weeks. No small thing. I was unable to play golf the rest of the season. And so, if I could choose no stars I would."
"Wonderful course and pleasant staff. The greens are probably the slowest in central Ohio. Not sure if this is the case year round, but it takes a little away from the fun. They still roll relatively true though. Will definitely be back."
"Staff friendly. Club house very nice. Restrooms clean. Course in great shape. Everything green &!well manicured. Rough short & manageable. Greens can be tricky. Most of not all greens you want to be below the flag!! I’ll definitely play again."
"Mill Creek is one of out staple golf courses. The course was in really good shape last time we played. Great staff, very friendly and helpful! They've done a really good job of updating the clubhouse. They have a couples-league on Friday nights, which we frequent almost every Friday night once it begins. I believe it starts in May and ends in August (check their website calendar). You do not need to attend each week, it's an open invite for anyone who wants to participate. Call to signup in advance, as it sometimes gets full during the summer months. It's an alternating-shot scramble, which they flight based on scores that evening. It's def worth checking out if you're a couple who likes to golf. The cost includes a lite dinner after golfing. They offer simulators for fall/winter play or if the weather is bad. It's worth checking out as well."
"This club is nice! I think this is good for beginer to middle player. And, green status is very nice. I felt ball speed was faster than other courses."
