"My one and only contract with them was horrible. They never paid my workers comp bill defaulting it to me. The scare tactics that multiple people used to try to get me to sign a contract with a non compete clause in it. They threatened I would be black listed and owe them $750 for “compliance items” when I have not signed a contract at all. Not even verbally. The length that these people go to are extreme are unbelievable ñ. I’ve been traveling for years and this is by far the worst agency I have ever encountered. Highly do not recommend."
"Poor management and a work environment that is so micromanaged it is borderline ridiculous. Leads provided are as old as 2014, causing recruiters to have to call the same nurses over and over. The ones that are not interested, retired or not even a nurse anymore are left on a continuously circulated list. If you don’t call, your not “challenging” yourself. I prefer not to get cussed out because I have called you every day for a week. They have a motto of” nagging”people into traveling ,which is the furthest thing anyone wants- be it the recruiter or the nurse. If your a serious recruiter- go anywhere but here. I resigned after witnessing some of the practices here. There are some wonderful recruiters here that will be chained to this place due to the way they operate. Be aware of what you are walking into. Hire 5/ fire 3 is well known amongst employees. But, if you like being stressed out, micromanaged, having everything you do critiqued and taken out of context, and struggling to meet pandemic numbers of nurses with an unrealistic “glidepath “- then this is perfect for you."
"My recruiter is Angie and she’s awesome!! She responds the same day if not within 30mins. Always follow up on me during my assignment and address any issues I might have. So far the company has been great. Good pay"
"I worked for this company for almost a year. It’s not the worst I’m sure but it’s certainly not the best. My recruiter was great but the company itself is lacking. My biggest gripe was that they took my stipend. At the facility I worked at sometimes, they would flex staff. I volunteered to flex on a couple of occasions and not only did they not pay the hourly wage (which I knew) they took a big part of my stipend. Once I left a couple of hours early and the other was like 30 mins. On top of that I was the lowest paid traveler at that facility. Just wanted to share that there my be better options if you are a first time traveler like I was. This company is not the best choice out there."
"Was ready to book a travel assignment with NEXT along with a friend. Recruiter we were assigned to was poor with communication and left us out of the loop throughout the process. We asked to switch recruiters but were told it is against company policy. Took our Travel Nursing search to American Mobile and found much better recruiters who were easy to work with and kept us informed along the way."
