"Found myself in an emergency situation where my bathtub water would not shut off and after I called ProGas plumbing he was here within 5 minutes literally! Very nice man and helped me get my problem taken care of quickly. He will be saved in my phone as my go to plumber and I would highly recommend him to anyone with plumbing needs!"
"DO NOT HIRE THIS MAN! I am an experienced real estate investor and Dave Perry is by far the worst contractor I have ever used. The few times he actually shows up (which is extremely rare) he will only work weird hours and normally overnight. He has not finished the project. I am now going to have to hire another plumber to come and clean up his mess but he still demanded payment or is threatening to put a lien on the property. He is EXTREMELY unprofessional. We have caught him smoking cigarettes and marijuanan on the job site. He would leave the place a complete mess whenever he “worked”. When trying repeatedly to get him to show up to finish his job he became hostile and would curse and name call. One time he actually used my other building material and made a small hut in a walk-in closet and was sleeping in it (I have no idea why). I showed up at 2PM on a Sunday to check on things and he came out of this hut in just a robe. This was in January in a house that at the time was just done with framing so no heat, no electrical, no plumbing (I couldn't make this stuff up). I have seen a few other reviews that were positive but they are all over a year old and very small projects like replacing a toilet. I think over the last year he must have fallen off of the wagon because the Dave Perry I know is a horrible person and can not be trusted. *** Update*** Now that Dave saw the review I gave him he left a profanity laced threatening text message and continues to call non stop."
"I’ve used Dave for 23 years. The first job he did for me was as a sub for another plumber who basically walked off of my job. Dave came and cleaned up the mess and finished out the entire job. I’ve used him ever since for anything from a water heater replacement to running water lines under streets. I’ve built several custom homes and managed hundreds of large cake remodels. Dave is professional and is truly a master plumber and charges more than fair rates for his work."
"If I could say zero star I would, you will never be able to get a hold of him. He will promise over and over he’ll be here this day this time plan on rescheduling 30 times before the job is done and he won’t call you if he’s not coming he just won’t show up. Smoking in your home while he works. If your city shut your water off that won’t matter to him he won’t hurry to get it back on. Unprofessional! Don’t pay until work is 100% completely done because if you do it will never get done. The worst most unprofessional one man company I have ever used in all my years! Stay away I’m telling you I’m saving you from the biggest headache of your life."
"I had my water service line leaking in my yard, and we had a hard time finding a reasonable plumber who isn't a greedy crook to only repair the line. We have the crappy "blue max" line since our house was built in the early 90s. So it was only a matter of time for the line to breach. 3 or 4 of my neighbors that I know of have already had their lines totally replaced. With the tropical storms/hurricanes rolling over Ohio in August/September 2018 the ground was totally saturated along with the small puddle forming in the yard. So it was a few more days before they started on the repair because they didn't want to tear up the entire yard, which was very thoughtful. The City of Trenton shut our water off before we could get the repair done because literally, as one of the city workers told me over the phone "this is a business, and we're losing money on the water leaking in your yard since it's not making to your meter". Pretty disappointed in the City I live in being so greedy. Yeah I know not having running water is a first world problem.... As soon as I told them we didn't have running water any longer to hold us over, they came to my home, started to dig, found the breach, repaired the line, and put all the dirt back in just a few hours. They didn't start until around 6:45-7pm, and worked into the dark with their own lights to get it done. Probably a job most big commercial plumbers would take a whole day to do, to stretch out the labor costs. I was quoted a price over the phone before they even came, and that was exactly what I paid. These guys have made customers for life. I recommend them to anyone and everyone, especially if you live in Trenton. These are our hometown guys, honest, and hard working. I will support this business and never used a big commercial plumbing company ever again. The owner is honest about costs, and knows the business well."
