"I was a vendor at an event here. The place was clean but smelled so strong of old grease and fish. I probably wouldn't rent the hall for an event. Check it out on a Saturday before deciding whether to rent the hall ( Friday's fish fry). I would have been quite upset if this was for a wedding reception. Also, the original date the hall was rented for this event was changed by the venue hall, which I found to be unprofessional. They received full payment for the original date, but something better must have popped up for them to break the contract and push this event out another month. These two instances give me pause to rent their hall in the future. Note: I was not the one renting the hall, but only a participant in the event held here."
"Tried to go to a vendor event (Oddmall if you aren't familiar). I pulled up and the Tadmore staff told me that the event was canceled. Instead, they encouraged me to take part in their hayride. All of my friends who were there vending had very poor experiences with the Tadmore staff. The space is older, so not terribly accessible. I also want to state that the staff/Shriners were not only unfriendly but had some very rude things to say. They said some very racist things. I will absolutely never be back here."
"Dirty and unwelcoming. Attended the Oddmall event where the Shriner volunteers were rude to visitors and vendors alike. Would never go back. One of them entered the ladies bathroom without so much as knocking saying he needed to refill the paper towels. My minor child was made uncomfortable by this, of course. They also started telling people the event was "cancelled" several hours in, sabotaging the event for reasons only they know. What a miserable place. The parking lot attendees glared at customers and vendors, even yelling at them. I saw one person rushed by two Shriners demanding to inspect their water bottle because it "looked like it might be alcohol." As others have noted, they made disgusting ableist and racist remarks too. The vendors including a disabled veteran, were not allowed to use the driveway in front of the building for loading and unloading -- one of the Shriners actually parked the organization's vehicle in front of a walkway just to inconvenience the vendors at the end of the show. Several women of color were very rudely treated as well. How adults, running a supposedly benevolent organization, could behave so childish and petty is beyond me."
"Vended here last night for an event and was met with harrassment by the staff as well as finding out that they purposefully turned cars away from our event over a petty dispute. These people are shameful and should never be responsible for any sort of charity organizing as i do not have faith that people like this would handle that money properly when they cant even handle a simple art festival that is run by other people. Do not have events here as they will make your experience miserable."
"Was a vendor at a recent Oddmall event hosted at this location. The staff of the venue was horrendous to our group. They lied to guests about the hours of the event and turned people away despite their being plenty of space for parking and people. They made tear down significantly more difficult by blocking off the center of the turn around, which kept disabled vendors from being able to bring their car around, which many needed to do."
