"This was the second electric company. I’ve had to my home in less than one week to to try to figure out what was going on in my house electrically. duke had already been out twice the first time to replace the ground wire outside that the squirrels had eaten through, and the second time in the middle of the night to replace the main powerline after I had a second round of power surges through the house my lights were off and not working some of them were half working. Some of them were on when they should’ve been off and some outlets were dead. I called several other electric companies closer to where I live and it took one company five days to call back and the other ones never responded at all. this company. I called in the morning and explained my issues and my concern about safety. they said someone would be out that day, the technicians arrived almost an hour early, were well dressed, very polite and extremely knowledgeable. They went right to work, trying to diagnose the issue, gave me a fair price estimate, which was much less than I expected and set about to fix the issue. after the problem was identified and repaired they made sure that all of my lights, electrical switches, and outlets were safe and working properly. Can’t express how thankful I am for the prompt, efficient, knowledgeable service of these young men. Now my house is safe. I will recommend this company to everyone I know and have done so already because there’s always something around here!"
"So disappointed in a local business that has sold us a lemon and for years haven't made it right. We have been trying to get proper help for years. It's 2 degrees with expected -15 windchill today. We spent entire night without heat. Since the first year we purchased the unit from A-abel we've had nothing but problems. We were upsold this unit per A-abel recommendation of 'it's top of the line and that we'd get our money's worth with no maintenance for years'. First year at over 100 degree temps air-conditioning broke down and we ended up paying for the service. Since that it's been breaking down in cold and in heat pretty much every year and we keep paying for someone to come out and take a look at it. As we asked to make it right and get us the unit A-abel promised, we were told we'd have to buy a new one but they'd give us a discount. We can't get yet another new unit unless the discount is 100%. Called this morning and were advised yet again someone will come out between 8-1 and we'd need to pay the fee. All these troubles and we've never raised a stink, but enough is enough. I don't know an industry where you can sell a lemon and have the customer pay for its continuous fixing. A-abel's service team is amazing, we never had a problem with them. But we've lost trust in their leadership and the company. All we've heard from their own technicians is how this product is bad, was bad from the beginning and faulty from the manufacturer. If they know that, how do they in good conceous don't offer a replacement. As we sit here with our gloves Hats and coats on waiting for someone to show up at some point next 5 hours and get charged for it again, I'm hoping this time someone will reach out to actually fix the root cause and not keep patching the bad unit they sold us. Now we got put on an emergency heat, which is extremely costly, not knowing when repairs will happen and if company will do the right thing and replace the junk we were sold, actually upsold!"
"The outlet behind my stove had stopped working. (Turns out it had melted) I called a few other companies who were going to charge $160 or more for just coming out and $100 for labor per hour. A-Abel was recommended to me so I called and scheduled an appointment for just $50. They offered to come out the same day but I chose the next day between 8-1. Caleb called around 9:30 and got here about 10am and was finished before 11. He went ABOVE AND BEYOND my expectations with his quality of service, friendliness, and professionalism. He answered all of my questions, addressed all of my concerns and I feel much safer with our electrical system. I was expecting a huge bill (because of the other companies over the phone quotes) but was VERY pleasantly surprised at how affordable it was. I will definitely recommend A-Abel to friends and family and they will definitely be the very first company I call in the future! Thanks again Caleb!!"
"Thank you for a great experience. Not only was the team communication key, but friendly and professional. The technicians explained and showed me everything that was wrong with my unit but also was educating the young technician that is learning. That’s a huge thing for me as this is a veteran owned business and as a veteran myself we learn by on the job. So I appreciated seeing OJT. My pup was shy but they were considerate of her shyness.
