"I regret to express my extreme dissatisfaction with the Home Association. From their lackluster communication to their questionable decision-making processes, my overall experience has been nothing short of a nightmare. The Home Association’s apparent disregard for residents’ concerns and their unwillingness to address issues promptly are major red flags. Their incompetence in handling common area maintenance and essential services has resulted in a significant decline in the overall quality of living within the community. Furthermore, their opaque financial practices and arbitrary fee increases without clear justifications only add insult to injury. It is evident that the Home Association prioritizes its interests over the well-being and satisfaction of the residents. In summary, my experience with the Home Association has been nothing but a series of disappointments and frustrations. I strongly advise anyone considering a property within their jurisdiction to think twice before subjecting themselves to such a poorly managed and unresponsive organization."

"We have been an HOA for 22 years and have not had problems with ASSOCIA until Renee Bell came aboard with us. She refused to give us financial statements until it was showed in the bylaws we were entitled to them. She wanted us to pay an initial fee to come in and look at the records, pay $100 to begin the copying, and .37 cents per page, $1 per colored page. We felt bullied by her, and this may be ASSOCIA’S way of doing business and she is just following suit.? Our HOA only has two water retention areas and a berm along a road with a handful of trees on it, and an entranceway that has two small trees and two small bushes. Our dues when we came here and had our home built were $125 per year. They did go up to $175 per year recently and this year they went up to $352 per year. When we asked Renee if there was a cap on what ASSOCIA could charge she stated NO. There is no cap? Furthermore, some of the increase of charges is because four homes, out of 133 homes, are not paying their dues, and the rest of us have to pay their legal fees, actions against them for liens, and whatever means necessary to collect that debt."
