"After two of the hotels in Marion told me that I could not host a birthday party for five kids out there. I decided to go with Holiday Inn and I am absolutely grateful that the other places didn't work out. I was able to fit all five kids and myself in a queen suite. We had the pool to ourselves the entire time we were there. Breakfast was great! The kids had some biscuits and gravy scrambled eggs, sausage and chocolate milk. They have lots of other things available at breakfast also. Every employee that we encountered was very kind. Overall, we had a great experience here and I would definitely say it is a family friendly hotel."

"I have never seen such fake people in my life. The management must expect the employees to be slaves to the guests. The "management" I delt with was less than knowledgeable or confident about any questions, most times the answer I would get is "I'll have to ask about that"! Sleep in your car"

"The front desk girl was very helpful and friendly. The pool was perfect for us. Breakfast was good. The location was kinda weird. We called the front desk seeing if we could get another towel.. they brought one up for us.. great service"

"Overall rating of 4 due to what I feel is a fairly steep room rate - almost $200 when all the taxes are added. Other than that nice hotel in quite area. Good breakfast selection - no waffles or pancakes. Standard room. Bathroom needs a better exhaust fan system. Good shower and hot water."

"I’m fairness the hotel is currently being renovated. However front desk staff seemed very irritated by the fact they were at capacity. The rooms weren’t the cleanest and the pool didn’t appear to be well maintained, hotel was very loud with zero staff “management” to ensure quiet time adherence. Overall it was a let down to what these hotels usually provide. I feel full price hotel rooms for 50% of a normal experience is, in my opinion, unprofessional business. I’ve stayed at this family of hotels all through the Midwest and this experience was one of our least favorite."
