Tim Jones and Son Plumbing

"We have used Tim many times. Used to be excellent at their job. We contacted them to install a new dishwasher. They needed 400.00 up front. Nick came 4 different times to install the dishwasher. Always had to leave before the job was done. Finally my husband called Tim because Nick didn't come back. Tim told my husband that they were not going to be able to finish the job. We had to call in another plumber. Had it done within 2 hours. E ded up costing us 800.00 to have a dishwsher installed. Wiill never use his service again!!"

"I contacted Mr. Jones through the messaging service on their website. He responded to me later that evening and even called me. He was very nice and willing to help, which was great, but everything after that was not. We felt as if we were duped and that he may have been hard up for money. I contacted him because I thought our basement floor drain may have been clogged. We had a foul sewage smell coming into the basement. When he arrived, he immediately went to eeling out the pipe from the outside and then proceeded to do so from the basement, but nothing changed. He then asked for some water to dump into the drain and nothing changed. The final consensus was the drain just needed more water to keep the sewage smell from coming into the basement. He never told us that it was normal for the water to be that high in the drain and that we needed to keep water in it to prevent the smell, until after he did all the eeling. He also told us he could only accept cash because he lost his wallet and needed to cancel all of his things in his wallet, so he couldn't cash checks. Funny thing is he told us it would cost us $600 for him to come fix the problem when he didn't even know if there was a problem or what it was. When we told him we felt that was a little expensive, he dropped the price to $400, still while not knowing the problem. After running to the ATM and paying him $400 to tell us we needed to keep water in the floor drain (and him doing unnecessary eeling), we know he pulled one over on us. What I thought was going to be a professional job was definitely a scam. I would not recommend this company, or if anyone decides to use them, I hope they get much better, fair, honest service."

"Within three hours of my initial call to Tim, Nick and Dustin were at my house and getting to work. Both were amazingly efficient and very courteous and professional. I had gotten in over my head with this install and they exceeded my expectations and I'm so grateful I chose Tim Jones and Son Plumbing. "We were losing water pressure due to old plumbing pipes. Nick and Dustin came in examined the situation told me what need replaced and gave me a very good estimate. We had them come back 2 weeks later and they replaced and removed all the old plumbing and installed 2 new faucets. These gentlemen were very professional and got the job done right and the price was very good. I will continue to use this business in the future for any plumbing issues. They did and excellent job!!!!"

"I had an emergency plumbing issue on a weekend and called Tim Jones plumbing. His son came out within the hour and diagnosed and fixed my issue. This had been an ongoing issue where my sink would clog and back up through the garbage disposal and this time it finally would not go down and instead caused both sides of my sink to fill with old food and sewage...they found the problem in my basement and had it fixed within an hour or so of arriving at my home. It’s been a long time since I’ve dealt with such a responsive, knowledgeable and honest business...refreshing to know some business still maintain an old fashioned work ethic!!! 5 stars all the way!!"
