"I have been renting from Tim for a little over a year and I couldn’t ask for a better landlord. Tim was very caring from the second I met him. I was going thru a divorce and was very nervous about being on my own after 20 years. Tim was very helpful from the the first day I moved in ! He has always answered my calls and has always fixed or attended to anything I needed. I work very crazy hours and he has always worked around my schedule when doing repairs. Thank you Tim for your commitment to your tenants, it doesn’t go unnoticed!"

"Our experience renting from Tim Meldrum was absolutely terrible. The place was really nice and he seemed cool in the beginning but it just became a nightmare. He never answered his phone or returned your call when you left a message so when we did have things break or go wrong we just had to fix them ourselves because he refused to call us back. When we moved into the unit we thought we smelled gas when we'd use the stove, we asked him to have it looked at and he called us back and said the gas company said everything was fine. Few months later in the summer the smell of gas was even worse so we called the gas company ourselves and they came out and red tagged it saying it was dangerous and unable to be used. When we asked what made it worse from the last time they checked it out he said the gas company has no record of anyone calling or ever coming out. So Tim lied to us and let us live in an unsafe environment simply because he was too lazy to make a call. We waited 27 days for a working oven/stove, he had empty units on the street and could have just gave us a stove from one of them and got ours fixed but he wouldn't. He only got us one on the 27th day because I called and left a message saying we were taking his rent down to the courthouse until it was fixed. In February of this year we decided to stop renting and buy a house, after we moved out we spent 3 days cleaning the entire unit, even had someone come in and clean the carpets. I then got a certified letter in the mail saying he was keeping our entire deposit because the unit was dirty. Tim Meldrum is a scumlord and will just take your money and provide you with no service worthy of it. My advice to anyone considering Meldrum properties is to not rent from him. It will be nothing but headaches for you, find a landlord or company that has a good reputation and doesn't try to cheat you. Don't make the same mistake we did."
