"I lived here for 4 years- Be prepared for your rent to be increased without any improvement to the services provided. I asked many times to have the patio and siding to be power washed because it didn't get enough light and turned green during the summer/fall. You have cheap appliances (old style washer, dryer and refrigerator) and low-grade flooring. Worst of all, when you have been a model renter for 4 years and paid over $70000 to live here and decide that you can't take their constant rent increases (5 rent increases in 4 years!) and move out, they nickel and dime you over everything. They steal your security deposit AND try and charge you extra on top of your deposit. The extra charges are for items that are not mentioned in your lease OR during your final walk-through. Be careful!!!! Follow-up on the reply from Management: Thanks for the copy of the survey- That really helped with the issues I mentioned!!!"
"My mother and step-dad decided back to Ohio to be close to family and were so excited to be coming home. They were shown an apartment that was in prestine condition so decided take a 3 bedroom. Upon receiving keys and opening the door, the excitement turned to sadness....the carpet is filthy, has patches in it and is loose. When they spoke to the DM he refused to replace the carpet and offered to have it cleaned again which will NOT help! The rent here is very high and every tenant deserves to have their new home in move in ready condition. The girls in the office are receiving 2 of the stars I gave in my rating because they are friendly and very helpful. I hope that this facility will do the right thing and replace the carpet in my mother's unit so they don't have to live in someone else's filth and have their grandchildren crawling around in dirt."
"We lived at Wales Crossing for a year and a half and these are by far the best condos in Jackson and the Canton area. It was always very well taken care of and the staff was beyond extraordinary. Jennifer was always very helpful and quick to respond to any questions. Paul was very friendly and very helpful when it came to maintenance issues. We had to move because of a job offer , but we were very happy at our place and would have stayed there for maybe another year or so! Thanks to the Wales crossing team !"
"I have been living at wales crossing apartments for about a 11 months. Our agent Jennifer is an amazing person. She is very helpful and has a great personality. Wales Crossing maintenance staff are very polite and helpful as well. I moved from 2 bedroom apartment to 3 bedroom apartment in wales crossing, after staying 8 months in 2 bedroom unit for certain personal reasons and they helped me a lot with this transfer. As I have experienced both 2 and 3 bedroom units in Wales Crossing, I love this place and inside design is very open, simple and fresh. Everything inside these units are all brand new and garage can get up to 2 cars for all units. Landscaping is very well maintained and the club house is great! As being a Turkish and my wife being Japanese, everyone welcomed us here and our neighbors are very friendly. I highly recommend this place to all, if your are looking for a really good and new place to stay in North Canton area."
"The leasing agent Jennifer is wonderful with a positive attitude hence the 1 star is simply for her. She shows the units and explains the application procedure very well. It is $500 to process an application which goes toward the security deposit, the 2 bedroom security deposit is $1250 & the 3 bedroom security deposit is $1450. So after submitting my application with a co-applicant and I was approved yet the security deposit changed suddenly to $3000 due to the following reasons: lack of rental history, insufficient credit score, & unsatisfactory public record. I currently live in high scale apartments that will not submit the rental verification form requested because I have not submitted a notice. Well I can't submit a notice without being approved elsewhere so Wales Crossing assumed I have no rental history even after I explain this to them. My credit score is in the low 700s and I'm a recent college graduate (2015) who works making $40/hour on 50-60 hour weeks although I have little credit history due to my age yet this income still did not suffice. Once I removed my co-applicant (who had a past judgment which was paid in full 3 years ago) the deposit was reduced to $2000 and they claim the additional $550 (originally suppose to be $1450) was due to lack of rental history. I have rented apartments the past 36 months yet due to my current complex refusing to fill out the verification form because they have not received a notice yet became the excuse for the additional $550. I'm a responsible young adult who was looking for a nice community to raise my 3 year old daughter in. At this point it is not about the $550 anymore because it is affordable; it is simply the lack of justified reasoning or logic for the additional amount. I highly recommend this complex if you are white or even elderly but if you are different from that criteria expect several obstacles for approval or increase rental amount. Remember it is Jackson Township, not acceptable of all people."
