"I’m sure this is a wonderful community to be a part of…but the communication with them is nonexistent. I have reached out several times. Only heard from them once. I felt very disrespected and really did need someone to reach out. My son and I were basically homeless…but that didn’t seem to bother someone reaching out to me."

"My boyfriend was kicked out with no good explanation as to why. He's got no where to go til his new apt opens up 1st of August . This was so unfair, he is disabled, heart condition yet they could not let him stay 1 more month. If anything happens to him health wise I will obtain an attorney and hold you accountable. No one human being should ever been treated this way. He's homeless and karma I always say will come back at ya. Your bad people with no feelings at all for ur actions. I'll tell all I know not to ever move in there. Cause if you get a wild hair you will.kick them out. Hope you can sleep at nites."

"Poor management. They are always trying to scam. My daughter moved out in Apr and never got her deposit. Ends up they sent it to the apartment address she just moved out of. We requested a new check be issued and they refused unless we paid the $35 stop pmt fee. We said no and had decided just to take them to court. Then we get a reissued check in the mail minus the $35 stop pmt fee. When my daughter first moved in, they told her and her roommate they would get a $200 credit because they recommended their friends, then they emailed saying sorry you’re not eligible for the credit because you hadn’t signed the lease before your friends came in to look at the apt. The manager told us the first day we were there they love college students living in their apts. I see why, they are scammers!!"

"Portage Pointe was a nice and convenient place to stay. We enjoyed that the heat was included, the large lawn with public grills, and large parking lot. The staff was friendly and addressed any issues we brought up in a timely manner. Regarding the apartment, the simple and efficient layout was nice. Our 2 bedroom apartment had a large walk in closet for our clothes. We also enjoyed the deck which faced the east against the woods."

"Referring to their two bedroom unit, I thought the apartment was a good size with a nice layout. The baseboard heat and wall mount ac were good. The building was in good shape. Really enjoyed the balcony view, especially when a storm was rolling in. The only downside was having to walk outside to get to laundry and sometimes the noise from people gathering outside the bedroom window to smoke."
