"I would not recommend living here, and the main reason for that is the landlord (Gordon Allen/Alan Pearlman/Roosevelt Investments/whatever alias he’s currently using). He is very unpleasant to deal with, and you will have to deal with him during your stay because the building is not in good condition. In the short time (about 10 months) I lived in my apartment, I put in a multitude of repair requests for everything from a non-working oven to severe water damage in the walls and even a collapsing ceiling. I also lived without heat from the end of October to December of 2022, and Mr. Pearlman dealt with the situation by begrudgingly providing a single space-heater (which the outdated electrical system could barely handle) to each apartment. He also decided to “renovate” his many vacate apartments while I lived there so I dealt with constant construction noise and mess sometimes beginning at 8am. Also, don’t be fooled by the “renovations”; they’re purely superficial. One positive about the building is that the maintenance and cleaning staff were very empathetic and pleasant, and I truly feel they did the best they could under the circumstances. Anyway, I would strongly discourage anyone from living in this building or any of Pearlman’s other buildings. You will definitely regret it if you do."

"This is a building owned by Alan pearlman and do not move to this building. He is a vile human who will make it life very difficult. This house was even in the news for bad heating and the landlord paid a huge fine. DO AVOID"

"Heights Apartments on Overlook Rd. has been a great experience so far. FREE Wi-Fi, FREE Water, FREE Heat, Washer & Dryer In-Unit. When we moved in, the apartment was clean and ready for use. The maintenance is very responsive and emergency maintenance came to fix an electric issue on a Sunday evening with little delay. Parking is next to the building and trash is out back -- convenient. Currently live in a 1-Bedroom 3-series and it is a perfect, manageable space for two people to live together. This has been easy to acustom to as new residents. Rent is very reasonable shared between two people!"
