"I’ve lived at Perry Payne for 2 years and it’s honestly been amazing. The leasing and maintenance team are really kind. The maintenance has a great sense of urgency. They throw great events for the residents as well! Rent is pretty reasonable for anyone who wants the downtown living experience. Highly recommend moving here!"
"I lived in Perry Payne for 2 years, and the only reason I moved was to be closer to work/school. I had a fantastic experience living here. The halls and elevators are always clean. Maintenance is fantastic, and has always promptly addressed any issues I had with my unit (which were minimum). You can’t beat the location, all of your bars/restaurants and stadiums are a walk away. Also the rooftop lounge has an excellent view of downtown/Lake Erie. My only complaint is the parking gate seems to frequently break, but I’ve never had issues with my car overnight so I’m maintaining my rating. Overall I loved living here and would recommend it."
"Update: The fact the owner took time to contact me personally to help resolve the issues I experienced speaks volumes to the integrity of the upper management. It also makes me feel confident in saying the buildings they rent are a good value especially for living downtown. As I look to move on from the city of cleveland I will seek their properties in the next city I land. My time at this building will be remembered fondly over all, despite the pandemic. Perry payne is a perfect building for people in their young to late 20's. With thick cement walls sound is infrequently an issue. It does have a more party atmosphere and lots of new people to meet on the weekends from out of town. The rooftop in the summer is a great place to relax in the day or party into the night under the glow of the cities lights. Or just head out, everything downtown is walking distance, and ohio city is a quick bike ride. The apartments are spacious and most offer large (6' by 12'ish) south facing windows. Perfect for growing any houseplant you want, all year long, even fruit trees! From my window I am able to see the river and 5 bridges. As well as the federal court house. The only down side has been the inability to open the windows in the unit. Electricity has not exceeded 120 dollars each bill in the winter and generally was less then 100 in the summer."
"I really enjoyed my time living at Perry Payne. It´s in a great location, within walking distance to all the fun restaurants and bars. The maintenance team was really quick to respond to any issues. The apartment itself is a fun loft design with amazing, large windows. The parking situation could be more secure. Even when the gate was functioning, it would still be pretty easy for anyone to get inside the gated area since a few of the bars in the gate are wide enough for a person to fit through. Overall, I think this place was a quality downtown apartment for a good price, even though it has some issues that could be expected in any downtown area."
"I lived at Perry Payne for 1 year starting in April 2018. Donna Epstein is incredible, she is so accommodating and friendly. The maintenance team is always responsive. Unfortunately, I had my car broken into twice. Luckily nothing was stolen but it costs $249 to replace a broken window, so we spent an extra $500 on those repairs. But I did get my security deposit back in 30 days in full. Apartment size is great, price seems average for Cleveland and location cannot be beat. Utilities were very high in the peak of winter."
