Reviews of Ranch Village Apartments
"We lived there from 2001 - 2002. We visited the place last week and we're sadden by seeing the are in poor shape. We used to take our baby for a stroll or in the pool. The pool is now closed because "season ended" but from look it has been closed 10 years ago. So many dog feces on sidewalks. So sad."
"Visited family living there. Their advertising they have a pool is a lie. The pool hasn't been repaired or usable in years. The price increase in just a year was over 50 dollars a month yet the gutters leak and overflow along with every time it rains hard the parking lot floods bad. Before signing a lease check all the facts."
"I never leave negative reviews but I wouldn't recommend that anyone considers this place. It's unfortunate that they lack professionalism because it's a very nice area I visited. I had an appointment scheduled and no one showed up for me to view the apartment. They even called me to confirm my appointment and I called right back, confirming. I didn't even get an apology the following day. An apology would've made all the difference. Plus, as others have stated, I learned that this place requires your cats to be declawed. I'd consider looking for other apartments that are actually pet friendly and have better leasing consultants."
"Let's start with the positive: I could walk right out my door and be in the park, and I had AMAZING neighbors. Rent was good. The laundry machines in my building were always clean and easy to use. The negative: They don't salt. I'm in my early 30s and am a great ice skater but I fell on the ice MULTIPLE times when I was being careful. This could kill an elderly person. The office people played mind games with me. My apartment smelled heavily of smoke and it was giving me allergy problems and they kept saying it wasn't there and wouldn't move me. They gave me a candle, but told me to burn it in the sink because they were worried about me burning down the apartment. The management is human and have their own problems, but so do I and it would have been nice to feel like I am being treated with dignity and respect. This is my opinion only."
"Absolutely terrible. I still live here, but I cannot wait to get out of my lease. Bedrooms are small, everything is out of date, but the price is OK. Parking is atrocious, but management and maintenance is worse. First, you cannot drop your rent check off at the rental office at Ranch Village. Instead, you have to drop it off at the leasing office located off Brookpark Rd or you can mail it in. Here is kicker of it all, the leasing office has limited hours in which you can drop it off. It makes it difficult if you are a working adult like the rest of us. Have a work order for a problem that needs fixed? You are better off ignoring it because it will never get fixed. My smoke detector BROKE and it took them over two weeks to fix it. They only showed up after I called to complain about it being a safety hazard. I have put in three different work orders for my bath tub (the grout is falling off the wall), but it still has not been fixed- a year and a half later. The third time I called about it, the lady said maintenance is behind. The first two summers here, the pool opened late in the summer due to repairs. While that is just an amenity, they use the "wonderful" pool as a selling point, but they forget to mention that it is only open half of the summer time. This place is garbage. Run!"
