"Hello everyone, I'm going to post an honest review about the owners of "Cadence Of Newport". My name is Austin, I was a former resident at these apartments before "Sunset Property Solutions" (SPS) bought up the property. The previous name of these apartments was called "Victoria Square Apartments". "Victoria Square Apartments" were one of few "affordable housings" left in the city of Newport. Sunset Property Solutions (SPS) bought the property for over ($28 Million dollars) and forced everyone to move out immediately due to "Major Renovations". There were 2 different moving phases. I was a part of phase 1. Phase 1 was told "You have 90 days to leave the premises, doing this time you're still required to pay your monthly rent/utilities, and if there's any damaged property it would come out of your deposit. Also, any non-payment of rent will result in immediate eviction." This company only has 1 thing in mind and that's profits for their pockets. I broke down how much the rent was before they bought the property/renovated "$500 - $800. Per unit". For the apartment that I lived in ($690/m) they're now charging ($1595/m) for the same exact unit I once lived in. Sure, they did some renovations to the property but to up the price more than 2x is incredible. I just want future residents to understand who they're renting from. (SPS) don't care about people. Don't believe me just read the other 1-star reviews on google or you could even watch the back story on them on wcpo. Also, you can look up "Sunset Property Solutions" and read those 1-star reviews from other properties they own as well... It's former tenants like me who was forced to move out and compete against other former residents for housing in the area. Which was very limited due to over 100 families being forced to move by this company. I beg everyone who is considering renting these apartments to look elsewhere. If you can afford $1500+ a month than please pay someone else and not these guys. Here are some other better-quality apartments in the area. Monmouth row, Academy on the 4th, The Hayden Apartments, Aqua on the levee, Vue 180, Madison place apartments, and many more. Please do not give "The Cadence of Newport" (SPS) your money, they don't deserve it. I Appreciate anyone who took the time to read this, and I hope this was somewhat valuable information about whom these people are deep down. Thanks again!"
"Thoughtful design and better than most of the new communities in Newport - gas stove, counter depth fridge, wine fridge, and beautiful high end quartz. Morgan was awesome and me and my roommate are paying 1495 for a 2 bedroom compared to 1965 for the next cheapest quality 2 bedroom we could find in Newport."
