"I hate to write a negative review on anything, but buyers and sellers beware. We assisted my father who was suddenly and tragically was left widowed with the selling of his home and using Lloyd Chambers was like throwing 6% commission in the garbage. We have bought and sold many homes through the years and this was by far the most ridiculous display of a representative we have experienced. Where to start. Right from the jump he underpriced the property but because he was a local realtor instead of a realtor from out of the area my father chose him. There were many times other realtors showed up to show the home and we didn’t know people were coming, the realtors were shocked that the information was not related to us. People reached out and sought us out on Facebook because they said the realtor would not return their calls. Then the final straw was the ultimate buyer, who I personally showed the property to twice without the realtor involved. At that point we exchanged numbers and worked out all the offers and business because of the poor communication from Lloyd. I asked Lloyd to decrease his commission because I did not feel that the work he put in was worth what we were paying. It didn’t happen, he felt he had earned it, and of course a contract is a contract. So fast forward to the closed deal, still haven’t heard a word from the realtor about a closing date or a closing! It’s all resolved and he’s never been involved. Please be advised. This is the worst customer service I have ever seen. Don’t end up in the same situation because of the “good ole boy” reputation."
