Reviews of Seasons on Chelsea Apartments
"The staff here is so helpful and caring. I've talked with quite a few apartment places in the last 2 months and never have I met so many rude people. Maddie and Kiley at seasons on chelsea couldn't be any more caring. Felt like they wanted me to get the apartment more than I did. Also this is my second apartment here. I lived here in 2020 and loved it. I moved only because we needed more room at the time. There was no issues. Never had a bug one not even an ant. The pool was amazing my daughter loved it. Maintenence seemed very professional and timely coming from sumone who is in the remodeling business. I know how things happen on a daily basis. I can't wait to move back in. Again thank you so much kiley with all your help and making me feel so taken care of. Also thank you Maddie. Such kind people!!!!!!!"
"Have had nothing but problems since day one when they wouldn’t even let me see my apartment before I moved in they kept telling me that it wasn’t ready. There was nothing to do. It wasn’t upgraded. They also did not tell me that the previous owner was a smoker and every time I took a shower nicotine ran down the bathroom walls. They also painted over, the scum and dust on the vents and caulked over scum around the bathtub. Needless to say, our water was completely out at least once every 3 to 4 months, and when it came back on half the time we didn’t have hot water I’m disabled so when I moved in, I asked if there were steps, not knowing if my steps would be inside or outside because they wouldn’t show me which apartments had how many bedrooms in them or anything else I ended up with an apartment that I had to go up and down steps and it’s not easy on me especially when I carrying my groceries I’m also 53 years old and single There is also a leak behind my living room wall that is extremely noisy after it rains a lot I told them about it over a year ago and the noise I can handle, but I’m wondering just how much mold is growing behind the wall Suffice it to say that the cons greatly outweigh the pros!! Let’s not forget the nasty water that backs up in the tub and the kitchen sink when the water goes out. They are trying to tell me now that I can’t get out of my lease a few months early Maybe if I share these things with someone of interest?"
"I lived here for two years and it was awful. The moment I moved to that place, they jacked up the price on rent. Staff were extremely rude.Things in the apartment would always break. Most of the closets in my apartment broke, handles would break, the thermostat broke upon arrival. Not to mention whenever filing a maintenance report, maintenance would rarely arrive and if they did it would be days later. The washers and dryers would constantly break down and were rarely fixed. We had to pay to use the washers and dryers and it was expensive just to use one machine, I had to pay over 5 dollars for one load of laundry. There were constant problems with pipes and they would shut off the water across the apartment complex whenever fixing them, however we would go a day or two without water. There were huge roaches which is not pleasant when you have to use the bathroom at 3 in the morning. Winters were harsh because staff refused to sprinkle salt. If salt was sprinkled rent would automatically be raised because the complex would refuse to pay for salt. During summers maintenance were often late when cleaning the pool for opening and it would take weeks longer, whenever there was a problem with the pool it would take weeks for repair due to neglect. The complex would add money to rent depending on your amount of pets, keep in mind I payed over 1,000 dollars for rent. Over the two years that I lived there, I spent over 50,000 dollars on rent. We did not get our deposit back. These people are crooked. Please do not move here, this place was hell."
"I waited until we received our security deposit to post this in fear that it would’ve gotten magically “lost in the mail”. The 1 star is for the maintenance men who always came out in a timely manner, whether things were able to be repaired or not. I will preface this by saying I overlooked google reviews before signing our lease and our reasoning for everything that happened was “we’re getting what we’re paying for”. Please don’t make the same mistake. I do not wish well for my enemies but I would not wish this apartment in anyone. Between the unorganized management (besides Maddy), the cockroach infestation we had, and the nasty condition of the apartment when we moved in, it’s hard to pick what the worst part of living here was. I could go into extreme detail on every situation, but I don’t have that kind of time. To sum it up: the place was extremely filthy when we moved in - if they hired someone to clean this place, we have a bigger problem. On move in day, one swipe of a Clorox wipe on a railing and it was black. Next was the cockroach problem: we assumed all of the bugs in the apartment were because it was getting colder out or there was a pond near us. Turns out it’s not uncommon at this place, they just don’t take care of the issue at hand. Once you send your 5th email with photo evidence, then they chime in. The solution was to pack up all of our belongings in the entire apartment into bins, move ALL furniture away from walls, and keep it like that for 48 hours while someone came and sprayed the baseboards and prayed it worked. Towards the end of our stay, things barely worked. The water was always off. Only two of our oven burners worked to cook food. Our laundry door was installed upside down and backwards so it would just fall on us at any given moment. Management had the nerve to give us a laundry list of things that needed to be replaced, which were not replaced / brand new or repaired when we moved in. A nice girl in the front office who will remain unnamed recommended we just pay for things ourselves because they would up charge us 3x what it would normally be to replace - and that’s exactly what they tried to do. Needless to say, if you plan on living in your apartment less than 1% of the time, this is the place for you. Low rent. Low maintenance. Low expectations."
