"I want to preface this review by saying that I’ve lived at Hunters Creek for many years, and have thus far been overall satisfied with living here, despite the apartments being old and maintenance constantly “band-aiding” things when they break or an issue arises in the apartment. However, my experience last weekend was completely unacceptable and needs to be shared. On 12/16, we had a warmer day, and as any person who lives in Cincy knows, the weather can be quite unpredictable in which we experience all 4 seasons in one week. On this particular Saturday, it was over 60 degrees outside, which caused the temperature inside our apartment to get up to 80 degrees per our thermostat, which is quite possible because we’re on the 2nd floor and heat rises. Our air conditioning was not and still is not working, which is ridiculous because maintenance has been to our apartment twice in the last month to (try to) fix it, and advised that it was fixed, however it is not. Typically, I would just deal with being uncomfortable on this particular day, however, I have a 2 week old newborn who needs to be in an optimal temperature of 68 to 72 degrees to reduce the risk of SIDS in which the hospital heavily emphasized this, as well as his pediatrician. Because of that, I called the emergency hotline on that date, because it was hot in our apartment because the air conditioning wouldn’t work and my newborn was sweating, and I refused to take any chances with him having to sleep like that since it can be dangerous. I left a message on the emergency line and literally heard nothing all day. Called back a few hours later and still no response, even though the emergency line advises you will receive a response that same day. After hearing nothing, we were forced to see our little one be uncomfortable all night because we were hesitant to open the windows with the nightly colder air so that he didn’t get sick with a cold or potentially pneumonia. After hearing nothing all weekend, I called the office during regular business hours, and spoke with Abby who was extremely RUDE to me when I told her it was unacceptable for me to hear nothing in response to my emergency call when SIDS is a serious, real thing and can be caused from infants overheating. Abby basically made it seem like I didn’t call the emergency line, told me they couldn’t fix the air conditioning because it’s under 70 degrees outside, and basically insinuated that I was lying when I said maintenance has been to our apartment twice to fix the air conditioning, when you can see in the work orders that I submitted they have been here twice. She did not care whatsoever that I was concerned about SIDS, and told me to just “open the windows” to cool it off. Would you open the windows of cold air if your newborn was sweaty?? So if something happens to my baby, who is to blame, Hunters Creek, right? All in all, we are on a month to month lease and can’t wait to find a house so that we can move from this place asap. We have warmer days coming ahead in the next week, even in December, in which I will have to continue to see my newborn uncomfortable, and have to worry about SIDS and him overheating. Completely unacceptable BRG!!!!"
"My brother and I have been living at hunters chase for almost a year now. Jessica helped us move in and she’s been great the entire time! She loves our dogs, Finley and Ella! They love the dog park and we give them treats that the office offers for them! Overall it’s been an easy experience here!"
"I am living in this apartment from last one year and I must definitely say that it is in a great location. It is very close to Kroger, Target and many good restaurants. The Rec Center is not far and it is awesome. Community is a diverse and the people here are calm, nice and friendly. Also, there has always been enough parking spots. Apartment is well maintained in a clean and tidy way. Also you will find it very calm and peaceful. Also room space is very good when compared to other apartments nearby. The only con of this apartment is they don’t have washer and Dryer Hook up. Mantainence services are also good and they are very responsive. I really recommend this place! The rent is not bad compared to other places nearby,"
"I have lived here since 2018 and I must definitely say that I have enjoy it. Hunter's Creek is a diverse and quiet community, and the people here are calm, nice and friendly. The location is great. There is a Kroger and a Target nearby, and many other stores. The Rec Center is not far and it is awesome. Blue Ash's restaurants are not that far either. Also, there has always been enough parking spots. I have had minor issues with my apartment but management resolved everything quickly and I was happy with the results. However, I do feel they could do better cleaning and maintaining the hall entrances to the apartments. Briefly, I really recommend this place! The rent is not bad compared to other places and I truly believe it is a great place to start your life."
"I stayed here in 2018 just for 4 months. But I throughly enjoyed this apartment. First thing I like is, it’s pretty new compared to Foxrun and Deercross. Also this apartment was maintained in a clean and tidy way. Also you will find it very calm and peaceful. They reimbursed the membership for Blue Ash recreation center. Also room space is very good when compared to Deercross. The only con of this apartment is they don’t washer and Dryer Hook up. But it Is available in every apartment. Even no need to access the storage room from Patio. It will be inside the building itself. There are lot of row houses in front of the building and the apartment is located beside those houses. Love window seats in each bed room provide a perfect view to sit on and pass your time. Leasing office was awesome and the people are very friendly. Also this is the only apartment where I see that they are not exhausting the kitchen smoke again to kitchen itself. They have proper Chimney to exhaust so v that you won’t find it hard while cooking. They are very prompt in maintenance requests. It will be done in a day. Also natural light will enter your living room. But kitchen is closed one. So it will be bit dark during day time. That’s how the Rooms were build. I faced issue with my cable alone. Of your unit have optic fiber provided by Cincinnati bell then you are good. The one I lived has normal cable for that which I was charged 50 MBPS for $50. Apart from that I find this apartment more like a home where you belong."
