"I lived here for 2 years. Very well kept property. A good value. Large indoor space and a large deck. Very quiet, safe place. Has everything you need. Maint. was attended to promptly. I only left to relocate closer to family. This complex is a very good value in Lebanon! and close to everything. I have rented for the last 10 years at different locations. I have been very discouraged about how some owners don't take pride in what they own and let them run down. American Village takes pride in their properties and it shows. I am grateful for my time there. Very comfortable, it was."
"I lived in America.Village for 2 years and loved the apartment! It was quiet and well kept. Never had an issue that wasn’t fixed quickly! Cheryl, the office manager, Randy and Dean, maintenance guys were all very nice. When I was looking for somewhere to move Carol, the owner, got me into an apartment quickly. When I moved I got my deposit back in a relatively short time. Only reason I moved is the distance and didn’t really know many people! Thanks for a great 2 years! Would definitely recommend this complex!"
"Lived here for 4 years and nothing happened that couldn't be attended to by staff and repaired. This was the best deal I could find around Lebanon as far as space and affordability goes. They even did maintenance while I was living there and I was never once charged more for their services. I never had anything crazy happen in the area either, it's an area I felt safe going out on late night walks as I worked 3rd shift at the time. We even have residents who are raising families living at American Village. It continues to support nice residents and I believe personally after living here for so long and working at a local factory that it was affordable and worth the money spent to rent here. If you're looking for a nice place to live or even a place to start a new life at, this is the place to do it."
"I loved living at American Village Apartments. Starting with the location: AVA is walking distance to downtown Lebanon. Lebanon has a TON of fun festivals year round that are hard to find parking for if you don’t live there. I took advantage of this a couple times, and I wish I had done more of it. The complex is in a perfect location-close enough to fun activities but far enough away to be quiet and peaceful. The staff: I really can’t say enough about the people that work there, I was always taken care of. Randy, Dean and Cheryl have always been nothing short of exceptionally accommodating. Dean in particular was probably the one that I saw/heard from most frequently as he does the routine air filter changes and attends to any acute mechanical problems you might have. My requests were always fulfilled the same day, often times within a couple of hours. Even though I had already put a request in, I was always notified before he was entering my apartment, and I was contacted directly about how the fixes were being handled. Dean is always good for conversation if you happen to be home when he stops by, and is considerate of pets, which I appreciated. Cheryl always returned my calls with questions from the front desk within 24 hours. She was always helpful, kind, professional and efficient. The owner, Carol, was reachable by phone or text. You just don’t get that many places. On one particular instance, my water bill was exceptionally high due to an accidental leak. The front office couldn’t troubleshoot this for me so I worked it out with Carol. She investigated herself and came back to me in no time via a detailed phone call, and was kind enough to take the extra off my next rent check. Every year upon renewal of my lease, I was dropped off a care package of chocolates and a thank you letter from the owners. My neighbors: always quiet. Just about the only complaint I had was my downstairs neighbors either had to shut the doors loudly because they were stuck, or they just really liked slamming doors. The verdict is still out on that one. They were friendly enough that it never mattered much. The apartment itself: I had plenty of cabinet space in the kitchen and the living room is huge. There are two sizable storage closets in the hallway. The washer dryer hookups meant that I never had to worry about shared laundry. The appliances were updated enough, and the place was very clean upon my arrival. The bedroom closets were decent sized. It’s a nice apartment, and my friends always commented on how big it was. It is comparable to a small ranch home. As I read through the other reviews, I can’t help but notice that a lot of complaints are due to “verbal agreements”… I’m not certain that’s even a real thing. If the lease requires you to give written notice… you give written notice. I was given a lease renewal form every year in my mailbox that gives you options, and I received it in time to turn it in for the 60 day notice timeframe. All you have to do is check a box, and drop off at the office. It’s not that hard. The ONLY reason I moved out was because I got a new job too far away for the commute to justify the affordable rent. Do yourself a favor and move into this place. The staff is diligent, the location is quiet and the space you get for your money is honestly unmatched."
"We have been here a year and just renewed our lease. This place is perfect if you're looking for a quiet place to call home. Our neighbors are all very nice and quiet. The maintenance guys are very helpful. They have routine work to keep the place in good condition and quickly respond to calls. The office staff is always very nice and helpful as well. Every time I've gone to drop of the rent check, I'm greeted with a smile and small talk. We absolutely love it here!"
