"I've lived here since 2020, but unfortunately I think now is the time to warn people that Princeton Management is just a slum lord company. The office staff here in general seems to mostly just be a middle man for the higher ups. They have switched property managers since I've lived here. The last one was pretty nice, the new one is clearly drowning in the problems that she walked into and her attitude tends to be defensive and not helpful. There are issues that I've gone to them about again and again with no resolution. Apparently the only way to get them to be responsive is to submit the complaint online, but even then that does not guarantee the issues will get fixed. There is mold, there are holes in the walls above the front door and at floor level on either side of the back door, the widows and doors are drafty and not sealed properly. I had an issue with a missing screen in a window and they didn't replace it properly so it fell out almost immediately, and the other screen they replaced they just shoved in there and it bent so now there's a big hole, which kind of defeats the purpose of the screen. The vendor they use for external fixes (replacing doors and roofs and whatnot) is not reliable and that itself is a whole other review that needs made, if I knew who the vendor even was. My heater and AC are ancient and don't work well, and especially can't compete with the drafts from the windows and doors, but they won't do anything until it stops working entirely. I've got a townhouse, and it's impossible to keep either floor at a comfortable temperature. The downstairs is always freezing and the upstairs can either be freezing or sweltering and rarely in between. I have friends in an upstairs only unit and they have said they struggle to keep their apartment at a comfortable temperature too. They raised the rent $225 a month in the past 2 years, but have done nothing besides some cosmetic updates outside to make it look like it's worth it. But inside these apartments are not worth the "market value" they keep reminding us they're pricing it on. The pool has not been open the entire time I have lived here (which, I get it, the pandemic at first, but public pools are open again). The maintenance team is very nice, but their hands are tied based on what the complex will allow them to do and will give them. I've seen the way they respond to these reviews, and I can tell you they don't actually do anything to make things better. It's by no means the worst apartment in the area, but the little things add up. And especially for what they're charging now for me and my child to live in a place with mold where they just tell me "spray it with bleach" instead of fixing the issue so it doesn't keep growing back."
"These were the worst apartments I’ve ever lived in. These are literally the apartments from hell. The maintenance was very nonchalant about issues and problems that the residents have. First and for most my closest broke down every other week. It was to a point where they just stop giving it. My water in my kitchen stopped working. I had an animal living in my wall for 4 months because maintenance forgot to latch a part of the roof back up. I had to call cooperate and write a letter informing them they won’t get any rent from me until they latched the part of the roof back up and get the animal out of my wall before the took care of it. I had received three different refrigerators form them because as I cleaned them out before using them they had old maggot shells. Also my neighbor had three small children and a big patch of mold on her wall. From the landlord to maintenance they’re all terrible and inconsiderate. Also my apartment was infested with spiders and pill bugs!"
"I have lived here for a almost a year now and honestly I was skeptical at the beginning. Not because of the how the apartments looked or anything but just moving to some new place is worrying. But let me tell you that I was gladly mistaken. The past apartment I have lived in were terrible at maintenance and responding to tenants. The office is amazing at getting anything resolved. The take care of the grounds weekly. They refaced the pool so that was a nice touch. The office ladies also always have some sort of giveaway or something that you could enter to win. I thoroughly enjoy my stay here and will be staying for the future."
"Lived as a tenant for 6 months, initially signed up for a special, agent told us that this price would be honored for another 6 months if we renewed our lease. At our lease renewal time they refused to honor the lower price and increased our rent by $120. The office workers are only in the leasing office for 3-4 hours per day and at varying times, the only way to have a service or billing request is to make it via Email and wait. Our house had a smoking smell when we first moved in, they said "it is drying carpet glue" however after 3 months the smell still persisted. Make sure to get everything in writing from the leasing office when dealing with the liars up front."
"The apartment sizes are good. I feel that for the location and the apartment itself, it is decently priced, although they could use a lot of updates, which would help the asking rent price! Having a pool is great when its able to be used. Great walking path around the area. Very close to Kroger and quick shopping. Electricity runs very high unfortunately in the winter."
