"I'm 62 and recovering from a devastating stroke. Because I was in the hospital for 6 weeks I lost my job. Then my home, car, family, everything I had was stolen from my storage and been living in a sleazy motel with my 2 dogs for 2 1/2 yrs. After a 100 waiting lists and lots of begging and tears, they called. I FINALLY HAVE A HOME AGAIN! So I thought. I had to go back to the hospital and didn't have my phone with me. Sure enough, they called during this time. It was only a few weeks but they refused to allow me to move in. That's not what bothers me most. What bothers me is that they put me right back on the bottom of their list again! Not the next, but the BOTTOM! I called corporate and begged them but these people are cruel and without empathy. God knows I've paid my dues and then some but it's these kind of people who hurt the most."
