"This is my second oral surgery by Dr Santin and his staff. I have only good things to say! The staff are friendly, professional, and caring. The treatment room is clean and orderly. No pain! Dr. Santin uses a process for anesthesia that is so comfortable; nose mask, local IV numbing prior to IV stick, local tooth numbing, and smooth, smooth general anesthesia. Recovery was quiet and pleasant. Dr. Santin explains all he does and answers any question you may have. Post-op instructions are clear. Pain management is SO effective without using narcotics! And he calls you personally the evening of your surgery! Don't be fooled by the mundane-looking waiting room... it's all top notch once you go through that door for treatment."
"After my initial consult, I was told how the procedure would happen. Once I was ready to have my implant, I was told I had to pay another $2000. This was not explained during the initial consultation. This office also didn’t communicate where one of my appointments office location was. I would not recommend this doctor."
"I had to have several teeth removed today and i dont do well with anything that involves me getting an IV. My assistant was amazing! She made me feel very comfortable and so did the Doctor. I like the fact they give you laughing gas before to help relax the nerves..then they numb you before they give the IV so i didnt even feel it!! Overall the experience was good from what I remember and i was pleasantly surprised when the Doctor called me that evening to check in on me. I have never had a Doctor personally call me themselves to ask how im doing. I will definitely recommend this place!"
"Dr. Santin and his staff are amazing!! Dr. Santin personally calls each patient the evening post surgery. I’ve never heard of a dentist or oral surgeon doing anything like that. He’s very skilled and you can trust that he knows what he’s doing without question! His staff is top notch as well and will help in any way they possibly can."
"I would stay clear of this place. After having anesthesia and wisdom teeth removal, my son was brought to the door (they had me pull my car up) barely able to stand. He was wobbly, swaying, and appeared to be still asleep. The nurse was holding onto his arm with ONE hand, he's 6 feet tall.. his head was hanging forward. I jumped out of my car because I was scared he could fall on the concrete and possibly hit his head. He had a mouth full of blood which was running down his chin. I mentioned the heavy bleeding and she said it was "because he keeps spitting out the gauze", even though he was asleep and had no idea what he was doing. Obviously he was not ready to be discharged. He ended up doing ok. Luckily I'm an RN and was able to deal with all the bleeding. Another great part about this was they have you pay your portion of the procedure upfront before they'll even schedule you. I paid it in full and my insurance paid their share. I thought it was the end of it, when FIVE months later I received a statement saying I owed 400 more dollars. I called to see if this was correct and they told me something about their software and writing portions off and that I should just ignore that bill. I then received a statement FIVE months after the first. So TEN months after the procedure, stating I owed 400 dollars. I called again and talked to a very rude person named Kelly and was told they have no record of me calling 5 months ago, as if that matters, and that the amount I paid before hand was just an estimate and that I wasn't told that but it was in the papapers I signed. I decided to mention the poor post op care and was told they only hear about poor care when someone finds out they owe more money. The office manager said they take so long to bill because they have to fight with the insurance for TEN months to see what they'll pay. I never write reviews but I have never had such a bad experience. It was very unsafe and the office personnel is rude and nurse is very unprofessional. You could tell they get these calls alot because they had a comment ready for everything I said and were very defensive. I will say the doctor himself was pleasant and seemed competent. But would not recommend based on his staff and the way they run the business end."
