Reviews of Bright Now! Dental & Orthodontics
"All you hear about in the waiting room is money, money, money from the people at the counter. The visit went well, made me pay upfront. Months later, I received at least 3 calls a week because I owed them $200. I thought it was paid in full that day I had the work done. They never sent me a bill.. just called over and over again. I made a payment and they called another 3x a week."
"Scheduled a new patient appointment and made it clear I needed a cleaning. They advised it was standard practice to have an exam first to determine what kind of cleaning you need and if they can do it that day, but that it was a 2 hour appointment slot. When I got to my appointment (8am) I waited 45 minutes before being called back. When taken back I was told they were doing X-rays and an exam, but no cleaning because they were short staffed on hygienists, I was told that if they had availability they would go ahead and do my cleaning. After confirming I had insurance, they did my X-rays and exam and the dentist told me I needed a standard cleaning and to schedule it. When I went to schedule the appointment, I was told they wouldn’t be able to get me in for a cleaning until AUGUST, 8 months from my appointment. Had I known, or been given any inclination that this would be the case, I would have never allowed them to use my X-ray benefit for the year or gone through with the exam appointment that was a complete waste of time. I should have trusted my gut and left before the appointment. I absolutely do not recommend this dental office."
"As a new patient that my mother had referred me to was a disaster. All I needed was a retainer and I had an appointment scheduled today at 2pm and was waiting out in the office for 30 minutes. Then they had called me in and at first they did the xray but made me wait in a chair for a hour and half and I decided to walk out. Terrible service, none of the workers gave me an update when the doc was suppose to see me or even apologize for waiting 2 hours and they did completely nothing. I was looking for a new dentist office for my teeth but I will not go there after a huge disappointment today. I don’t recommend going here at all."
"I have been coming here for a couple years now for most of my dental needs. I will say that the only redeeming qualities about Bright Now is that Dr. Nadine and her staff are so wonderful and reassuring, but getting in to see her specifically is really difficult. I think it was close to a year ago: a filling fell out that needed redone, was told decay was all the way around the tooth, and had to have it ground down for a crown. Crown was put on, I was constantly in pain for months, radiating up to my ear. They should have done a root canal if the tooth was that badly decayed. Instead, I had to pay for this work, then go to a different dentist to be told I needed an endodontist, to pay a whole bunch more for something that could have been fixed. 5+ appointments. Over $2000 wasted when I could have paid $900 per my insurance for the crown/root canal in two appointments. I decided to recently give them another chance, but I was not able to get in with Dr. Nadine. They book out so far it’s insane, but I was squeezed into the schedule for two appointments (which I am super grateful for), but the experience was awful. To be fair, I haven’t had a cleaning done in a year, but that’s because they are booking out for cleanings at least 6-7 months and my cleaning I had scheduled I had to cancel. The tech was really nice, but it took a while for Dr. Rico to come in. He looked at my teeth for 2 minutes and said I had a bunch of cavities. I take care of my teeth the best I can, so when I asked him what I can do to prevent these further. I was told “it’s probably genetics” and he walked out. That’s SUPER helpful. So, this will be the last time I go to bright now unless I have an emergency and can’t get in elsewhere."
