"Only one visit so far but it was a good experience. Staff was nice and they made me feel comfortable with having them do my dental work. We'll see what happens on my completed work."
"Went in for JUST A teeth cleaning appointment. I went in a couple weeks ago for possible aligners which resulted in doing a consultation. Yes I had cavities on my molars, yes I had a chip on my side tooth to fill which isn’t much noticeable so didn’t really care to get it done or not. Then needed a deep clean and suggested a enameloplasty for my 2 front teeth. So I went to another dentist to do the enameloplasty because I’ve wanted it done for years. Went back to aspen to just do a teeth clean. Walk in tell them who I am and next thing I know I’m getting told to pay 3 thousand dollars. I instantly got thrown back and asked why so much for just a cleaning. I got told by front desk lady and Michael Drivas (office manager) that I’m required by law to pay that much because I was prescribed by a doctor from my consultation. So I was basically paying for everything I got consulted for weeks ago to instantly pay up front for when the appointment wasn’t even for anything else that was talked about in my consultation. So I allowed them to check with my insurance and it dropped down to $681. Yes a magnificent drop in money but if I just schedule an appointment for 1 thing why am I being obligated to pay for everything else that I will not be doing. Mind you the enameloplasty I did at a strongsville dentist and they just charged me for that procedure. Aspen dental was still going to charge me for the enameloplasty though. I was asking nicely why I just can’t come in for a deep clean and pay for that and why I’m being charged for weeks ago of a consultation. Michael Drivas became snark and asked if I was a doctor I said no but I’m just asking why I can’t come in for one thing but get charged for five things. He said it was required by law if I get prescribed by a doctor I NEED to get everything done. Which after that Michael said if I go anywhere else that I’d pay the same amount for a cleaning I didn’t tell Michael but the other place I went to just wanted $150 for a cleaning. I went with aspen for cleaning thinking it would be cheaper big NOPE. So they wanted me to do deep clean that day and schedule a further appointment for everything else. Which I never heard of since I was able to go to another office and get 1 thing done & charged for 1 thing. So I just instantly canceled my appointment which the front desk lady gave a smirk smile and said my appointment is canceled and I walked out. If someone goes in for a consultation then comes back to do things 1 or 2 things at a time because they don’t want a credit check for dental, please tell these people when they do make these appointments for a couple things that they will be paying for the whole consultation and not what they want for that day please. It’ll save the snarky remarks from staff and Office Managers they have to make and make the patients day a bit better. Don’t bother either with the automated response, clearly it isn’t passed to the team based off multiple reviews."
"Felt pushed/obligated to pay for services before receiving the costly treatment they told me I needed. While sitting at the desk to “schedule” my next appointment, the guy gave me a tablet to “review” my personal information. After carefully reviewing the information in front of me, I was reviewing a Credit application I did not ask for, so that they can immediately get paid for the treatment upfront, and then I’ll be starting a monthly payment with this credit company. I immediately rejected it. Would’ve been nice and professional from this guy to at least provide me with options on how I would prefer to pay for the out of pocket expenses. Not steering me to sign for credit without my knowledge. This made me feel very uncomfortable and in doubt for continuing getting treatment from here."
"I am almost done with my partials and have nothing but GOOD to say about everybody at aspen especially Erin. They were all patient with me and helpful with explaining the process. I have major anxiety with dentist and I would recommend this location for sure! Thank you Aspen team for getting my smile back :)"
