"I am a former patient. I had always found the receptionist rude and unprofessional. Dr Lakhani and his hygienist seemed professional and kind, however, I believe I was misdiagnosed with a periodontitis diagnosis severity if even being correct. After leaving the practice due to distance and change of insurance, I found that the “severe periodontitis” diagnosis was minimal if even existent by my new dentist. I have not changed my brushing or flossing and mouthwash routine. I’m also unsure if several fillings were necessary. I like Dr Lakhani, but believe he may be a little green. Things changed after the Covid staff change. I hate to think of these issues being dishonest. I’m glad for the change of dentist. I gave two stars because the staff, other than the receptionist, were pleasant. To have to question a gum disease diagnosis is very uncomfortable. Let alone being uncertain of fillings being necessary. Beware of this office and get second opinions in lieu of being potentially scammed or accidentally misdiagnosed."
