"This is the most perfessional dentist office I’ve ever been to! The dentist did an excellent job feeling in a cavity for me! And the dentist assistant or hygienist did a very good job cleaning my teeth! And there not like a lot of drumming Dentist office where all they want is your money I’ve never gotten a bill from then! "I requested a novocaine shot for a front tooth procedure. Those really do HURT! I did NOT appreciate when the numbing was placed on my gums, the dentist just immediately pushed the needle in. She didn’t give it enough time to take effect! Uh why?!? That is NOT how it should be done. Other dentists I have seen have always stuck the cotton swab there for a good 5-10 minutes BEFORE just taking that needle and plunging it right in there. In my opinion, I really feel like it was so rushed because I was the last patient of the day!! Next time, PLEASE take that 5-10 extra minutes for the numbing agent to take effect because the pain was so intense that I had tears in my eyes but they didn’t seem to take notice and just kept on with it. I have never had a dentist just not care and kept on going like that before!! I have had this procedure done many times for years. I’ve been to different dentists and I’ve NEVER had them be so uncaring about my pain level. Please, next time you need to inject someone with novocaine, be considerate and caring enough to take the time to let that numbing agent take effect before you push that injection in. At least ACT like you care enough about your patients comfort and not rush a procedure for a patient who I must point out was 10 minutes early arriving for the appointment. I made sure to be early since I was late for my FIRST appointment ever with your office in which I was apologetic for. RESULTS: The composite does look great!! Honestly, even my FIRST experience with this office, the hygienist was not very kind or respectful. I could tell she was very annoyed that I was late! She made that VERY CLEAR. When she looked at my info, which was the standard “dental cleaning with X-rays,” she responded with a very snarky attitude saying “because you are SO late (by 10-20 minutes or so, I can’t remember exactly), you are not going to get your cleaning today.” me: “I’m so sorry I was late. I’m aware of that fact but it was due to circumstances beyond my control. However, getting a cleaning is why I made this appointment in the first place. Haven’t YOU ever been late before to an appointment, especially due to things like traffic or construction?!?” RUDELY the hygienist says “No I have not. I respect people’s time. I have to be respectful of my next patient, so no, I can’t do it.” We went back and forth for a couple minutes about this which I’ve NEVER had to do before with a dentist or doctor. I am not that type of person who does that. I just could NOT believe how disrespectful and rude she was to me!! I was a NEW first time patient. It was just so unprofessional. I proceeded to tell her “well I want it noted that I am not happy with this treatment for a first time patient, it’s really not a very good first impression AT ALL.” Next thing I know she came back in the room and said “our next patient cancelled so I will be able to do your cleaning after all.” That’s a bit suspicious!!! Me: “Oh that’s great. I really appreciate you getting me in to do the cleaning.” She seemed to “change her attitude”. Results: I feel like my cleaning was rushed and I truly don’t feel like all the plaque was even removed from my teeth and gums. I could be very wrong though, I’m no hygienist.I asked her how bad was it, she said that it wasn’t very bad at all. Shocked because I haven’t been to the dentist for several years due to no insurance. She may be correct with that but it still feels like there is plaque. Overall, EVERYTHING just seemed VERY rushed as if they HAVE to get through the patients as quickly as possible so that they can close by 3:00 pm. Oh and when I was checking out, I asked the receptionist about an estimate and she made a comment that she would now HAVE to work on her day off just to get my estimated cost for my next procedure.” I’m sorry. WHAT?! Who says that out loud to the NEW patient???! Overall, the procedure looks GREAT!! Will I return? I may have to due to insurance reasons but I hope they get more professional and caring of their patients!! Maybe they will after seeing this review."
