Reviews of Aspen Dental - Huber Heights, OH
"They were excellent. Took all of 5 minutes to pull my tooth. Staff very friendly and knowledgeable. Straight to the point, didn't waist time and once I left it took me about 4 hours to stop bleeding and applying direct pressure. It didn't even feel like my tooth was pulled, pain level was zero. They gave me numbing jell before they even shot me in the back of my mouth and from there it was academic. Highly recommended to others."
"New patient. 2 hours for an xray and "consultation". The room was freezing as I'm anemic. After which the costing person pretty much yelled my results for everyone in the lobby to hear. They want to give me a crown for every silver filling I have. Like 5 or 6 crowns for $7,000. I wasn't expecting that for a first time visit. I left feeling really uncomfortable and they never addressed the pain I had. I won't be returning."
"Wasn't to thrilled with my experience here. Bunch of new staff and I felt rushed by the doctor during my examination. Met literally for 3 minutes. I timed it. The front desk staff wasn't very personable and the office appeared to be disorganized. Not a kid friendly office either. Took my 6 year old daughter here for a cleaning and they didn't even give her a toothbrush, floss, or toothpaste. Not that those things matter, but she wanted that experience. I expected more from this office. I would recommend another dental office. I hope that things turn around for the better in the near future."
"I had an appointment for a periodontal maintenance cleaning. They informed me that I owed $100 from my last visit and wouldn't start the new work until that was paid. That appointment was 3 months ago and I never received a bill so this is the first time hearing about this. the appointment was at 9am, I wasn't taken back until 930am. Until I had worked it out with my insurance company. Which means that the hygienist didn't have enough time to do the cleaning she just did a mapping instead. Then she says my gums are worse and refused to do the cleaning that I had scheduled for 3 months. Then she say my care plan had changed and went back to the original care plan of pulling every tooth and charging me $15,000 for that work and dentures. A care plan is code for we plan to take advantage of you to the fullest extent that we can get away with! My "care plan" was changed by the dentist and it included only pulling 3 teeth, three fillings and a deep root scaling and planing. The treatment i received from this hygienist was abhorrent. If you can at all avoid it don't ever go to ASPEN DENTAL! Avoid at all cost!"
"I cannot recommend Aspen Dental for Dentures. My previous denture lasted me 10 years and never had a problem with it. As my dentist retired, In 2022, I visited Aspen to get a new replacement denture. I left my old denture with them for a day to assist them in making the new one. The final product did not resemble my old denture at all, including the thickness or fit. After a few adjustments, I decided to live with what they gave me. In March of 2023, I returned to Aspen with a denture that cracked while eating a meal. They repaired the crack by making the area thicker, thus making the fit worse. When I went in to pickup the repaired denture, they accidentally gave me another patient's denture! The next day the office manager came to my work to exchange dentures with me. Then, just recently the denture cracked in the same place while enjoying some candy. So I returned to Aspen and was told that they could repair the crack (but not today because there was no one in the lab.), but that it would just happen again. They recommended a re-alignment to correct the fit at a cost of approximately $475. I politely explained my displeasure with this entire process with the office clerk and said that I am done with Aspen Dental. I believe they are incompetent in producing a suitable replacement denture when being provided with the previous perfect denture."
