Reviews
"Dr Stephen Shall is a great and gentle oral surgeon. He put in three implant in my lower law over 15 years ago and I have them still and he was great and less painful each time, than a filling. Gary Sadler, Lambertville, MI"
"Dr. Shall and his staff were amazing each time I seen them.. It was a process to get my teeth implants and he made it possible with as little pain as possible. I would recommend him to anyone and everyone."
"I'm writing this review on behalf of my mother who is not a regular review writer or very familiar with technology. My mother was a patient recently of Dr. Stephen Shall. The basic scenario is she had a tooth pulled. Afterwards, when swelling went down, she scheduled another appointment as she had some questions regarding the teeth around the tooth that was pulled. One of her teeth felt lose, or as if it had been moved slightly during the pulling process. At her second appointment, she described what she felt and asked some questions. I spoke with her after her second appointment and she was very upset. The following is how she described her experience with Dr. Shall: She asked questions and his response was flippant, uncaring, unprofessional, and it seemed he was unable to display compassion. She said he treated her specific situation as a mundane, everyday, regular tooth pulling service in a way that conveyed he does this everyday, why would her situation be any different? He did not listen to her, he was not reassuring. She said he displayed annoyance with her questioning and appeared to take her questions personal, as if my mother was questioning his abilities. He did not look at her when he spoke with her but talked over her, behind her head as he was leaving the room. She asked me if there was a way to give zero stars. She has cancelled all future appointments for herself as well as my Grandmother. She has spoken with another dentist who has claimed Dr. Shall is a man who is good at what he does, but maybe not so personable. My mother did say the office staff were very kind and attempted to make up for his lack of understanding. So, he gets 1 star. If you would like to go to a dentist who can do the job, but not care for you, then I guess you found your man."
"I had Dr. Shall pull my wisdom teeth years ago so when my dentist referred him to correct an antro-oral fistula that developed after a tooth extraction i was not concerned. This is a hole that connects my mouth to my sinus cavitiy. I was put on antibiotics and it took about 3 weeks to get in to see me. I provided all the information they needed on line and gave my history and medication report. My dentist send my records as well. I saw him on the 7th and he determined it would need surgery. He wanted my on a different antibiotic and sinus medication for 2 weeks before the surgery which was scheduled for 9-21-18. Remember they had my health insurance information for 3 weeks and knew what the problem was. So I take another antibiotic and then find out on Tuesday the 11th they they are a dental provider for my insurance but not a medical provider and this procedure falls under Medical coverage. My options go to a oral surgeon who is covered or pay out of pocket $900.00. I am angry that they wasted my time and have delayed my medical treatment of this problem. I scheduled a consultation with a covered oral surgeon but cannot get in until Oct. 23rd and will have to most likely stay on antibiotic the whole time. This is how superbugs are created. I have been on antibiotics for more than 4 months now. If you knew and your office manager knew there was a possibility that you were not covered to treat me regardless of the outcome, why waste my time and yours; and referred me to some one else who could take care of me and bill my insurance. More importantly this has delayed my treatment and I am at constant risk of infection. SO SO SO DISAPPOINTED AND UPSET AT THIS WHOLE PROCESS."
"I had a lot of anxiety about getting my wisdom teeth out. The consultation was very thorough with paperwork to take home about how the day of surgery would go, what to expect, etc. I HATE getting an IV, but Dr. Shall did amazing! It was so painless and quick. After the surgery they took me to a resting room and debriefed my escort about my care. Then the Dr himself called that evening to see how I was doing. Wow! Great service, nice staff, and very professional. I would recommend Dr. Shall to anyone considering oral surgery. I was very impressed."
