"Just recently went to BPS for the first time in months. It has totally changed and unfortunately, I won't be returning. I would make a couple trips per year to get single cans of a variety of craft beers. It no longer has the variety; it's become a generic liquor store. I understand it's under new management and they've made the place nice and bright with the remodel. Also, the staff was very friendly. But I can find that at the liquor store around the corner."

"2021: BPS as *thee* Dayton bottle shop for craft beer is over under the new owner. Last time I went it had so much old stock with dust on it and no one working the beer shelves. Even some of the lights were turned off, making the beer side seem abandoned. BPS is not much more than any old liquor store now. People used to visit from all over and be impressed at the rare finds and shelf gems in this hidden, shabby bottle shop. End of an era. Sad to see it go. ------ It's BPS. The original Dayton bottle shop with aisles and aisles of craft domestics and imports. There are other shops now, which is nice, but BPS holds a special place in my heart."
