"Just got back from my inaugural visit to The Wine Down in Downtown Marion. I had been looking forward to visiting since it first opened a few months ago. I have never had the chance to buy wine from a legitimate sommelier before and the news that there would be one opening up a store just a few minutes from my home was incredibly exciting. Let me tell you that The Wine Down exceeded my already high expectations. It is absolutely gorgeous inside and so inviting. Megan is absolute genius and so kind. I was truly dazzled by her knowledge while never for once feeling belittled or embarrassed about my lack of knowledge. You can drink there or buy a bottle or two to go. I honestly don't think I will ever buy a bottle of wine at a grocery store again!"
